Just finished this kit and I'm in love with it. Aside from not trying to break it, I'm amazed by the level of detail and not having to take a single part off to transform it. Whoever helped design this kit needs a huge raise and a vacation for a job very well done.
@cementium I haven't built any Zeta Gundam kits, but my understanding is that some joint issues were the main reason a 2.0 was released. There are lots of older kits which were re-released as 2.0 versions, with joint fixes and refined details in the armor parts. Look for mt zeta gundam reviews without 2.0 in the title. The differences should be seen then.
2.0 are basically a redo of a kit. It has much more detail, articulation and number of parts than its 1.0 ver. Its usually done for very old kits (like ones that come out from the 90's). If people still demand that kit up to this day, it would be a good decision to make a 2.0 of it because lots of people are willing to buy it.
My only problem with this kit is that it really lacks surface detail. If this kit had details on par with the RG or Freedom 2.0 it could have been the perfect Zeta Gundam kit. Anyone up for a Zeta 3.0?
@zamora252 Google image search the zeta plus, you'll see it looks drastically different from the ZG, transformation into wave ride is basically the same tho
i really want to get this z gundam but my gundams started to fall apart on me after 5-7 years... i think its beacuse i didnt paint them. i think...... but i think ill still get this one it has waiste articulation not even the perfect grade z has this..... and it simple looks fantastic!!!!
for you information vegeta, i personally think that this MG is better than's it's perfect grade after i watched the video made by 2old4toys. This MG got it's PG mechanic implanted and looks shaper than PG.
The arms & shoulders on my MG Zeta Ver 2.0 keep popping off when I try moving/raising the arms. It seems you don't have that problem with yours. If so, did you do anything to improve the joint?
Hey vegeta, does your Zeta gundam's knee bend forward? Ive been trying to see if I assembled it wrong sine the kneecap seems to be a little higher then it should be on both legs
I just bought one myself. I just finished the waist unit, but i can't connect it to the upper torso. The instructions doesn't tell me to attach the to halves together until I've already finished and added on the legs. Is this the order I should do it in?
i am still interested in this kit even now. But i heard from various sources that it absolutely cannot stand. I do not use stands or action bases. Can anyone confirm or deny?
