Welcome back to my series I've begun where I dive into one of Gundam's most popular, yet least understood side stories within the franchise. "GUNDAM SENTINEL" (1987-88)
Much like my previous work on GAIA GEAR, this video aims to explore and dissect the plot and hidden things that most people are unaware of when it comes to the lesser stories that make up the Mobile Suit Gundam Mythos.
Gundam Sentinel was a serialized story published by Model Graphix Magazine and Written by Masaya Takahashi, it was later then complied and re-released as a photo novel after it's completion.
To this day, Sentinel is one of the most popular side stories within the Gundam Franchise, however, due to a series of complex legal reasons, Sentinel's story (unlike it's popular model kits) have fallen somewhat under the wayside with time.
With this video, I aim to tell you of this tale. :)

I’ve been binge-watching your EP01/02 videos like bedtime stories, and they’ve really deepened my love for Gundam Sentinel. The militaristic design of the mobile suits is so captivating I’m eagerly collecting Sentinel kits lately. Thanks to your videos, I now have a newfound appreciation for the designs and the intriguing story behind them. The Gundam Sentinel narrative is a rare gem, and you’ve done an outstanding job bringing it to light.

There has to be a pezun situation battle for GBO2 the new decides zeku variants and the gundam mk5 vs the alpha s gundam squad with the zeta plus’s and fazz’s or for something less power score like gm3’s and neros

I mean the devil face on Penfield was a little early, the man was just predicting CCA with 100% accuracy. (And even the colony drop on Dublin which is going to happen in a few weeks or months from this moment) Thought he whole "Martyr his own city with a nuke" you seem to be implying is definitely worth the little devil

29:42 Wait, since when has UC humanity managed to put an atmosphere of even nitrogen around the moon? It's too small to hold one and UC's too low-tech to manipulate gravity. I know there wasn't an atmosphere during the Titans colony drop attempt on Granada.

lol, I think you took that word “atmosphere” a bit too literally 😅. Also, my phrasing was a little wrong to word it like that. The Gundam MK V in that scene is using it shield for the purpose of stabilizing its entry into luna’s gravity well. If it wasn’t using that shield to brace itself with the shield’s verniers it would have just plummeted to the ground and crashed. Since the suit used all of its main fuel to destroy the FAZZ’s it had to rely on the shield’s integrated verniers to make it safely to the ground.

@@GaiaGaiyus Ah gravity well not atmosphere. The firt time you said it I assumed you'd meant Gravity but then the shield bit confused me into thinking it was actual reentry.

This was really amazing not that, but the MK-V is such a cool MS and I really like the A.L.I.C.E. System cool system compared to many others It’s true. It has some flaw at the beginning but then evolve to be something special.
