Hears the weird fact, how come the most athletically experienced person on the team pilots the most heaviest gundam, who so happens to upgrade to flip just like the pilot?
I'm impressed how the composer for this game made a killer techno track and pump up the bass and synths for it. Something that you would only expect from the Sega genesis, but they made it work for snes. Hands down the best upbeat track in the snes.
i found this song on napster randomly like over ten years ago. i had long forgotten the name and when i found this track on an old cdr in my stack of old cds, i took a shot in the dark and guessed heavyarms was the theme, cant believe i was right on the first try.

kinda weird that the gundam franchise's been around since '79 that is truly amazing. a franchise that old is still good even the old stuff still gets dvd sales.
An old buddy of mine turned me on to this franchise over 20 years ago. He found an emulator for this game, and he turned me on to this tune. Quite a few of the tunes from this game, this one included, and a lot of metal music got me through high school. Even though this is unrelated, I want to say rest in peace to Kirby Morrow. No one else could do the voice of Trowa Barton like he did.

Well, according to investigation I've recently executed, this game was produced and developed shortly after combos had accidentally been introduced first. So, as this game was being produced, the developers included newest technology which enables us to claim them to have accomplished well.
I've been hearing this theme since about 1999/2000 when I downloaded the ROM (I'm pretty sure the majority of you did this also) and played this game. But I didn't like this theme a lot until like 2008 when I started to feel it as very nostalgic theme from the 1990's. 1:30 - 1:43 are my favourite part of this theme
That's just wrong. SFII was released in '91 and is the first fighting game to have combos, and if we talk about games that had actual combo system built in, then we champion Edition in '92. Endless Duel was in '96, well after multiple games with varying combo systems had already been developed. Five years is a rather long time in game industry.
Gundam Wing was a generationally popular anime cause it was on Toonami. Also, this song specifically was so popular that it got regularly seeded on P2P apps like Napster, Limewire, etc. I’m pretty sure if you were a weeb in the early-2000’s and played games online, this song lived on your playlist.
Emulation. I used to play this in a SNES emulator in the early 2000's and I even uploaded videos of me and a friend having a match online about 15 years ago.
But does it count as stealing if they made their own cover for it though? I mean I know it's the same song but artists made covers of other artist's song too all the time and sell it on their own album so maybe that works for games too. I mean they didn't exactly just use the song, they made a remix cover of it so maybe that's okay. You never know perhaps the song artist is a fan of Gundam or use to work on Gundam.
@TehBeaf Unless you can back that up, I believe that you're lying. I've listened to both songs and though they share the same SNES sound card, the melodies are quite different.
