I had seen this one being thrown around as being terrible or being so bad its good. Seeing it for myself the first time a while back I actually had a good time. And seeing it later on I actually liked it more. It has its issues of course but in some ways this gets a bad wrap.

This is my personal favorite tokusatsu film, especially for the heavy metal mecha cyberpunk aesthetic and storytelling.

Although the film had nothing to do with the PC-Engine game, I do like the Gunhed's design, the mechanical aspect was really something to behold. I remember seeing a making of video, and an interview of Kawamori conducted by Hayashibara Megumi no less.

I believe it has to have been the manga, I often look for mecha images to reference for video games at times of character creation and whatnot... another great video. ☕🐝🇺🇸

Front Line Assembly had some really good songs. Even when I couldn't understand the lyrics I always enjoyed their stuff.
