I think that every musician who lived the 80’s knows that Izzy is like Nikki Sixx in Motley Crue.. Everyone looked at vince and tommy, but the guy behind music and lyrics is Nikki. In Guns n roses were Izzy with Axel. Izzy came with a riff and all the band followed him. What did Saul Hudson i GNR? Solos… But the harmonies, melody and rhythms are Izzy
The real star of GNR is Izzy. Hands down. Just look at the appetite for Distruction cover. There is a reason why his skull is the top. Yes axle was the center but Izzy was the chief! And of course Slash was the foundation without him nothing can stand
I think every member of the original line-up was unique and each one of them played big part in the succes of the band. This is what made them so special.
This song is one of my favorite from GNR, Izzy’s voice is amazing, and the duo of him and axl’s voice is beautiful,this song doesn’t get the hype it deserves.

Ok this is pretty messed up; this song came on Pandora while I was in the shower this morning; and 12-12-2006 (14 years today) I was in a car accident and induced coma for two weeks, kicking off years of headaches beyond description. Damn you karma!!
The lyrics are real genius too... hard to find anyone who topped GnR for poetry and verbal dexterity, although Metallica, Skid Row and Motley were much better than you would imagine.
