@@alejandroalfonso6545agreed but when Mercury is literally the only one…god damn you are special. Much much respect to the great Axl. His prime was better than 99.99999% 🫡
This song will always remind me Terminator 2. I was 9 years old and watched the trailer of Terminator 2 on TV by chance with that music, i both felt in love with the film and the music band at that time! I managed to go to the cinema with my brother and my mother, i don't know how since i was too little to watch it! But what a baffle it was for me as a kid to watch this on a big screen, this was just incredible! Since then i'm a fan of Sci-fi and rock !
You could be mine was written in 1986 has nothing in common with t2 except it became soundtrack by "coincidence"....its not like it was wrote special fir t2
@@Praise_God369 Actually nobody claimed this here. About pure coïncidence, i think there is more about it : 1/ "The song was released on June 21, 1991, as the first single from the Use Your Illusion albums. The song was originally released as a song in director James Cameron's 1991 film, Terminator 2: Judgment Day." 2/ "You Could Be Mine" was selected to be included in the James Cameron film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Arnold Schwarzenegger had the band members over for dinner at his own home to negotiate the deal. 3/ The song was played during the endig credits of Terminator 2 and is heard in the film itself in early scenes with John ConNor. 4/The music video for the song was directed by Andy Morahan, Stan Winston and Jeffrey Abelson.A T-800 Terminator is assembled, given the appearance of Arnold Schwarzenegger, and dispatched to assassinate the band at one of their concerts. The video consists of clips from the movie, including its teaser trailer, intercut with footage of the band performing the song as the T-800 makes his way to the front of the crowd. You Could Be Mine : Recorded January 1991 / Released June 21, 1991 Terminator 2: Judgment Day : Released July 1, 1991 (Los Angeles) So the song was released 10 days before Terminator 2: Judgment Day came out, and the music was already incorporated into the film before You Could Be Mine was released, the music video was already made as it contained teasers of the film. Adding all of this facts, this is NOT a pure coïcidence, contrary to some others musics used in other films. Both the film and the Guns N' Roses profited greatly from this cooperation (teasers of the film in the music video, which is not common) and GNR goes into the top chart in many countries. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V-WGkADkVnM.html
It means that he has very loose and relaxed vocal chords; a lot of Americans have them because of the way they speak. If you notice, for example, when someone from Saudi Arabia talks, they sound as though their vocal chords are very dry and tight. I mean, listen to how Cat Stevens sounds now compared with his London voice.
There’s no doubt in my mind that 1992 was the single greatest year in music history!!! You had G n R, Skid Row, Pearl Jam, Pantera, , Soundgarden, Nirvana, White Zombie, Metallica , Ozzy , Alice In Chains , STP, NIN, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Janes Addiction even Megadeath ( countdown to extinction), and Kiss (Revenge) !! The entire year was just F#%* AWESOME and we will NEVER EVER have a year like that again. Not only good studio records but these bands were on fire LIVE too..
This song proves their greatness. They just released this as a gap filler till UYI cam out. They didn’t even realize how great this song was and how talented they are.. GnFR !!
@@evenflow1206 Hahaha Holy fuck did you ever just make yourself look like a total fucking moron. You release singles prior to the album being released as a way to promote the album. YCBM was the lead single for the Illusion albums you stupid fucking loser hahaha!
@@Hallucination YCBM was released as a single before the UYI albums were released, 4 months earlier. Released as a single in June ‘91 and “gap filler” till the albums came out in Sept ‘91. You can hunt down which show bc I don’t recall off hand, but even Axl says it before playing YCBM, that they threw it out to give the fans something in the meantime. They had no clue it would blow up like it did. KOHD was supposed to be the actual 1st release on UYI2 the day the albums came out, but thanks to it being on T2 soundtrack, it exploded, shocking everyone including the band. Learn your history, junior.
@@evenflow1206 the cover of the YCBM single literally said "From the forth coming album Use Your Illusion II" you stupid fuck. I owned it. It was released less than 3 months before the Illusions came out. That's how lead singles work dumbass. They don't lead with a single on the day the album comes out. It was the lead single to promote the albums and YES they knew the first single would blow up as the world was begging for new GnR music so they released a single and included it in the summer's biggest block buster movie and did a music video all to promote the album. How the fuck are you even attempting argue this. It's you who doesnt know your history. Fucking clown.
