I can't believe the band were ok with the price of that thing. I've got all the albums and singles on vinyl as well as bootlegs so I'm not missing having this at all. I listened to AFD on my 1987 pressings yesterday, yeah, it sounds sublime as it is.

Appetite for destruction on USB key is 16bit not 24 bit.....the folder name is 24bit but the files are 16 bit

Jesus Christ man....for a box that expensive you would think that there would at least be some really cool archival DVD footage included. And for a set that's limited to 1,000 copies they could of at least included an autographed photo. Have they all gotten so big that they can't at least do that for the fans?

I agree. They should have included a live dvd or live material from that era in the set. Plus the price of 1000 dolars is a little overboard. The average person does not have 1000 dollars to freely spend. The Metallica remasters are way cheaper and you get more than your moneys worth. I love Guns n Roses but sometimes wonder if they truely care about there fans. Id rather see a not in this lifetime tour dvd released. Even though they didnt give us a full reunion.

The most annoying part is not releasing a set with just vinyl minus all the bullshit, effectively locking out vinyl collectors who cant afford $1450 for a box of junk.

What an absolute waste of money! I can't believe how foolish people are to drop that much money for JUNK! I love GNR but I would never spend that much on it. With that money i could buy 5 great albums that are just as good if not better than appetite.
