3:29 bless the audience. I think this Japanese audience did not quite understanding Axl's sarcastic joke "Personally I think that's MY best number of the night". You could say Axl performed that number without any mistakes! ;D
Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly All your life You were only waiting for this moment to arise Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these sunken eyes and learn to see All your life You were only waiting for this moment to be free Blackbird fly, blackbird fly Into the light of a dark black night Blackbird fly, blackbird fly Into the light of a dark black night Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly All your life You were only waiting for this moment to arise You were only waiting for this moment to arise You were only waiting for this moment to arise
Those reefs brings me so many feelings, i got no words to describe it, just trying to dont cry while i listen to it. For me, its the real definition of affective memories. Thanks for sharing it. Guns !
I feel like, that if they just added a little delay and reverb to his voice, compressed it a bit more, and turned the volume down a bit, so that his vocals aren't sitting right on TOP of the entire FOH mix, that it would just blend better. I'm not saying it's a fact. Just a thought. :)
For the last 56 years I play guitar almost everyday for after 3 to 4 hours and now I see Blackbird the first song I learned done by a band I know very little about but another famous and they're very classy band they always impress me and these three guys have balls of f****** tungsten steel but they did it and I did it right it was beautiful thank you I have to get to know you better
I am a huge GNR fanboy since the 80s BUT please, be honest, it's not the same and it will never be again...and yes, it doesn't have to BUT...Slash and Duff are still crazy good, like in their peak, now looking like tigers held back in their cells. Axl should take it for good, soory to say that, don't get me wrong, he WAS the greatest, but this is just sad to watch. He used to change from one outfit to another and it was like woah!!! How?!? Why?!? You look so good and unique...now he disapperars and comes back with a blazer on?!?? Despite the singing....i don't even start this conversation : (
...Once there was this rock n' roll band Rollin' on the streets Time went by and it became a joke We just needed more and more fulfilling... uh-huh Time went by and it all went up in smoke But check it out....
im glad to be an aging guitar player and not an aging singer. Not having to deal with such a decrease in tone and range. Slash is still as good as he was back then, but the ending part of the song sound painful for Axl.
I saw guns n roses back in 2002....and axl still had a amazing voice..full of power and presence..he defo had something unique...and all tho slash wasn't there..this is the bucket head period.....they wasn't to bad.....but this last few years ..its like axls voice as gone a bit wierd ...and it sounds like someone else to me..... that was well ropey in my eyes..he didn't do a bad job helping acdc also ..but it's like his voice is shot to pieces now.... wow when that ended it was like ..damn a local pub band could have did that better ...sorry but that was shite.
has axl rose forgotten how to do his iconic voice? or is he not capable of doing the voice anymore. this just takes soo many angryness and pain away, and it starts to sound like a cartoon.
When it was Izzy, the music Slash played would sink in beautifully but when he plays by himself or with any other guitarist then his music bounces like ping pong balls.
GNR's drummer's beat doesn't fit.. Frank should follow the beat of the original version by Matt Sorum..The strength of the song don't cry lies in the beats and guitar harmony.. Ferrer's drum beat spoils everything..
