@@miguelmendivil it could be if they could bring Steven and Izzy back, and put all those songs they left hanging in one album.. that could be the album of the year.. but one can only wish and dream...
The band and some of the members had demons like everybody else but on the whole one of the Great American rock and roll bands of all time and Axl Rose is without a doubt one of the great vocalists ever. Glad to see Duff sobered up. This sounded great
Gnr is still 🔥 I don't care what anyone else says. 1 of the greatest guitarists ever slash and Axl is 1 of the greatest voice ever. Holy hell just amazing. Still jamming in 2023
Axl absolutely crushed this song. I bet at his age now he wishes he did more songs like this haha his usual unique higher voice is nearly impossible for him these days. People shit on him for it all the time, I say give the guy a break. He's come a long way from being the ass he was. Watching his recent performances the past maybe 5 years, he always looks like he's enjoying himself now and just happier. I'm glad to see it.
@@patrickbateman9410 he can still sing with his raspy voice, but I think he saves his voice due to many and long concerts too. You can hear his awesome vocals in their newest song Hard Skool that came out last year. It has some "Lies" vibes to it
@@APerson-bn6cu yeah I know someone else told me already. But seeing how awesome his voice was while stepping in for Ac/Dc, I thought he could still hit those notes. But nope. I have heard this song live and it sounds nothing like the record :p
I was there. Unfortunately i was stuck next to an annoying mosh pit that kept barging into everyone. I was in a totally bad mood by the time they played civil war, but i managed to move to another place in the crowd and enjoy the rest of the show. Sang my heart out to night train. It was awesome 👍
Wow great sound and video thankyou! had a great night thought they were amazing I wasn't expecting them to be quite that good didn't feel like an ageing GNR just I brilliant GNR 😀 loved it ❤️
Imagine if Axl, after writing all those great songs in his 20s or so, without the politics, what could he write now with 30 more years of life experience. I wish he would
that Axl will not release more albums is the fault of the die-hard fans of the 80s and 90s... they have harshly and cruelly criticized the Chinese Democracy album
Richard Fortus is a consummate professional through the years love his vibe in that intro with Duff and Slash. Can't help but wonder what new stuff they have in the works.
I remember when appetite came out in 88 I think, it didn't really take off for a year or 2 at the time, until paradise came out or sweet child. Their music was a breath of fresh air at the time because of all the glam rock in the 80s. Of the few albums they did release they really were classics. I remember thinking it was such a pity they split up, and all the good music they could have produced. Of course Axl was a complete nutter, and all the drink, drugs and personalities, that's what makes a classic rock band... When they released 2 albums one after another at the time it was really out of the box. The use your illusion albums are really classics. Slashs solo on November Rain to me is one of the best solos ever written. Great band, I remember seeing them in Slane around 91...
6:55 - 7:15 he still can sing the way we all know and love it but I guess he hasn’t the power to make 2 1/2 hours concert like this and lost a little bit of the range
@@barry1369 yea, he’s been to the gym. I could see that. His fitness level was good. 😀 He interacted with the crowd too. When the front couple of rows complained they couldn’t hear anything he stopped the show and had the sound team altered the settings before carrying on which I thought was applaudable. Been a fan since ‘87, but this is the first time I’ve seen them perform live in the flesh. A great show. The wife and I enjoyed it immensely.👍🏻😀🇬🇧
@@barry1369 we were right at the back. We didn’t think much of the new stadium . Sound wasn’t the best quality where we were in the Gods. Maybe people closer could here better. It was the right volume just a bit bouncy if you know what I mean. When we queue outside for what seemed like an eternity waiting to be let in. The first band didn’t play. I still to this day don’t know why? 🤷🏼♂️ We went down to London for the full weekend. Always a good time. Usually we go with friends for a show every few months. But this time we went on our own. Always a pleasure to visit London. We live in Shropshire so 3 hours on train for us. Glad you enjoyed the day. 👍🏻😀
@@300leothelion At the stones hyde park show the sound of every instrument hit you but at the guns show the everything was able to be heard but it just boom like it should’ve done
I was there (albeit right at the back) and I can confirm that the guitars were really quiet for the first few songs. They sound ok from the position this video was taken, though.
I worked @ a place. I won't mention their name. I got paid by a rate, not salary. When Natally this little girl from France told her father how beautiful it was around here. By the way, she got her Degree through Saint Bonaventure... She gave me such an opportunity !!!
