After watching these youtube videos about rock groups justifying the use of backing tracks (to the point it sounds EXACTLY like the record) it is so damn refreshing to hear LIVE ROCK by a group that believes you get together before the tour and f@#$#*& practice. Saw Aerosmith live last fall and it was just such a visceral mainline connection into the spirit of ROCK, alive in it's connection to all its roots in American music. I}t was ALIVE. AND for those fans that say a dominant backing track really doesn't make a difference- YOU are allowing rock to die! That's the only way rock can die baby - if you take away it's connection to in the moment instinctive feeling that's at the heart of Jazz, Blues, and Country.
Me and my partner were here, was fucking brilliant aside from some gobby ignorant cow next to us who was purposely being a nuisance. Axl's voice has improved since last year too
Best gig ever!!!! Over 30 years in the waiting for me to see them live! Myself and my crew which included my sis, brother in law, nephews(their first ever gig)and a good friend went mental! The majority of the crowd were so sedate though which was the only let down
We were just to the left of the wooden thing in the middle and took my 16 year old daughter and friends. They were incredible 61 years old and blasted for 3 hours. Insane.
@@matthewbelcher6573 My daughter was wearing the orange bandana with the white gnr t-shirt. 😂😂 So many people. It was an epic gig. The four young lads we met were legends.
