Look at Buckethead here. Hes amazing. Axl begged Buckethead to play for him in GnR cause Buckethead is capable of learning Slash's songs quickly and easily. Buckethead live with GnR made the original solos more creative and better sounding.

many people wont agree and take out many of axl's faults ,saying it is not the original stuff etc,,,,but according to me this line up was perfect. Even i think axl was still good with this voice.Singing is not only about the rasp,but the feel u put in it.
Richard Fortus, i'm not really a great fan of his but his solo on this was dam good. it sounded like a mix of slash and Brian may. Buckethead went nuts on the last solo, i'd love to see him and bumblefoot in playing on the same stage.

Slash wrote this epic solos, improving epic solos or dancing around, adding flowers or diferent feelings or styles is easy. Buckethead is an epic guitar player but it's not fair to compare. Also, the ones bashing Robin Fink probably don't understand that he was putting his own style into his playing, i must say unique style...which is amazing, amazing feeling on his playing. Respect to all the players, not easy to be in their shoes.
@@danielkirkland3366 Nah Buckethead’s Electric Tears album is 100 times better than anything Slash ever wrote. And Buckethead has his own career dummy, he’s a solo instrumentalist not a cover guitarist

@4:30 mark the cheesedick screws up the solo, BUCKETHEAD saves this song!!! imo BUCKETHEAD is alot better then Slash: BUCKETHEAD has alot more variety in his playing, Slash just plays Rock riffs(and will be known as the GnR/Velvet Guitarist) while BUCKETHEAD has a huge catalog of different ways to his mad methods.BUCKETHEAD's influence range from (late)Shawn Lane, Yngwie, Eddie(maggotbrain)Hazel, BOOTSY COLLINS,Dave Murray,Vai ect.ect. as to Slash's influence Page,Perry,Halen. BUCKETHEADLAND!!
Axl always sounds like that.. Listen to more of his live stuff, I actually think he sounds better than some of the concerts he did in the 80's LOL And seriously, Slash and Buckethead are both incredible guitarists.
is that right!! i really wanna cya playin lyk he does.... no one can tell who is better or who is worst everyone has there own improvisations and styles and more stfuu of their own... and yea Slash is my favorite but i cant say he is the best of all but is truly my favorite and always will
I don't know why people make such a big distinction between what is technical and what is feeling. All music requires both things. You can't have one without the other. Just because you personally don't sense emotion in one person's playing doesn't mean everyone else feels the same way.
@021gerald bucketshead's MASK IS his emotion!!! as far i remember you couldn't see any emotion on slash's face cuz he had a cigarette in his mouth and his hair covered most of his face!
BucketHead is wearing a cape :D I must get a cape it looks so cool :) That song was pretty cool :D I've never heard the real version of november rain but it probably isn't as technical on teh guitar solo's.
