If you dont have access to the M870 SGA or the AGR 870 tube, you can still do the quest by getting a 4.1 inch rail, putting an RK-1 foregrip on it, put that on the shotgun, and for the stock, get a PRS Gen3, put it on an m870 LEO stock adapter, and put that on the gun. You can use whatever AR 15 pistol grip you want, it doesnt matter.

@@Tutorial_Kid you use Gigabeefs second version in the video above, just with the changes i mentioned. This is really just assuming you have the flee market, as that's how i did it.

These videos are awesome. Im so appreciative of the work youve done to explore the possible options for alternative modding paths for these tasks. There will be lots of newer players who will now never know the pain of camping restocks because theyre all making the same build as the wiki specifies. Great work!

I have skier level 2 and he did not have it. (Was looking further down in the comments and you need to complete the quest extortionist to be able to buy the M870 from skier.)

Made this quest with Monster Brake and LEO stock with MIAD grip. SGA stock is quite hard to buy or find.

Great video, shows the options, especially important as everyone follows other guides and buys out the trader stock of the same items. Specific items requested in the quest make it limited and remind everyone that global trader limits are still bad.

you need to finish the extortionist task from skier first, if you dont want to do that you can buy one on the flea for about 70k but you need to make sure you get the one with the longer barrel not the short one

@@Gigabeef Yep seems that's the case. This is my first wipe so IDK if that's a new change or not. Managed to snipe one for 35k rubles on flea so was able to complete it anyway!

@@Gigabeef So, I'm in a pickle, cause when I turned in my Extortionist quest, I got a backend error that kicked me out. Then when I got back in again, it had completed and turned in the quest but I didn't receive my rewards in the mail. I shrugged it off, but now I can see that I didn't get the M870 unlock either. Do you have any idea of how I can fix this ? I checked my tasks log with Skier and it has the quest as completed.

@@GigabeefAh I see, I normally don't look into individual subscribed channels (but still found these videos ;) ). Personally I would not mind them in my main feed but I get that it might feel as spamming videos. I've not gotten to play this wipe yet but if I do I'll definitely go back to these videos so this might be a good way to still push content without overdoing it. Anyway great videos, you've become my main channel to keep up with Tarkov and it seems that this wipe might be a very good one.. 👀

I have a request for two videos as a new player from xmas, can you do a video early game kits and weapon builds. And for the second video can you do map guide for each map but not a loot guide a extraction guide showing how to get out of the map from each side of spawns, its one thing knowing where the extract is but its another getting there.

I didn't do them last wipe, I'm doing them myself anyway and this new editing style for these gunsmith vids takes me a fraction of the time vs the first set I did. People like these vids - you don't have to watch them if you're not interested

@@Gigabeef I appreciate these videos as the parts on the wiki are usually VERY overpriced. Some players might not realise there are alternatives. I spent 30mins on part 5 making my own alternative.

@@Gigabeef Sorry didn't play the miniwipe; I meant the last normal wipe. If it doesn't stand in the way of your other videos then I have no complaints. I remember a year ago I almost unsubbed for that wipe because you made videos that were weeks too late instead of your usual (very informative) content. Apparently you also do gunsmiths for cheaper which I wasn't aware of. I thought you just copy pasted wiki info and made a video about it. Have a nice day Beef. thanks for your civil response btw.
