Jacob Im glad taking the Turmeric worked out for you. I was shocked how well it worked also. We have actually met on the water in Honeycomb, you showed me what crappie looked like on your foward looking sonar. I had the maroon Bass Cat. We also have a mutual friend Micky Balzz, I live close to the house he has in Guntersville.

Yeah Jacob, you covered a ton Son 😜✊ I’ve been buying Hiroshi’s baits for about 4 years now and I love them all and that 2/7 smelthead is perfect and I love his jigs , and his designs I even use the Namazu here in North Carolina !! I know I used to buy direct from him, but now Nishine is in every top online tackle shop and he must be proud of you 👍 I ordered myself the FishMonkey guide gloves at your recommendation and they should be delivered this week.

I bought a maxim 7.3 MH and I love that rod. I also bought a feather 7.1 ML casting rod at the classic expo because the guy working the both suggested it for smaller squarebills and it is way to soft. Don't know what to do with that one. Want to buy a feather spinning rod for wacky rigs. Is the 7.1 M feather equal to the 7.1 M M1?
@jacobwallfishing
@jacobwallfishing Год назад
Hey Shawn, happy to hear that you have had some good experience with Phenix. That 7'1" ML would be a great rod to throw finesse swimbaits on, open hook small jighead swimbaits. The feather series 7'1" M spinning rod is a more parabolic action than the M1 I personally prefer the M1 I feel like I get a more accurate cast as well as a little bit better hook setting power. I do like the 7'1" M feather for something like a Ned rig.

@@jacobwallfishing thanks for the help. I'll try that with my ML rod.

Rick here again. Thinking about buying a couple of the M1 Casting Rods for general purpose (chatter, worm, texas rig, crankbait) here on Guntersville. What is your point of view on length and action?
@jacobwallfishing
@jacobwallfishing Год назад
Hey Rick, I really like the 7'4" MH for alot of those techniques you mentioned. I actually lean heavily towards the 7'8" MH for a chatterbait and a lipless on Guntersville for making long casts on the grass flat as well as being able to sweep and hook the fish well even on a long cast. That same rod works well for fishing the offshore ledges in the summertime.

Morning Jacob. Rick here. We've spoken a few times when we ran into each other at WaterFront. Do you know if GTO or Waterfront has Phenix M1 Casting Rods? BTW = as always great content today. Watch your channel all the time.
@jacobwallfishing
@jacobwallfishing Год назад
Hey Rick, hope you are having a nice morning. Unfortunately GTO and Waterfront don't carry Phenix rods. You can check them out on Tackle Warehouse or the Phenix Rods website. I appreciate it!
