There’s an argument to be made for John Galliano at Dior during the early-2000s, Givenchy in the ‘60s, YSL in the ‘70s, Jean Paul Gaultier in the ‘80s, Christian Lacroix at his eponymous house in the ‘80s, or Alexander McQueen in the ‘90s - but yeah - Mugler did some of the most influential couture collections of since the original “Golden Age” of haute couture back in the ‘20s to the ‘60s with Dior, Chanel, Balenciaga, Balmain, Poiret, Schiaparelli, Grès and Lanvin.
