This is a fascinating Hamsanandi/Sohini Vocal jugalbandi between these veritable giants. Barring a couple of stray seconds of silence around 46' and 62', the recording quality is overall good.
This concert was circa '88 (I could be off by a bit). I remember attending this concert with my dad and post- concert, going off to seek Guruji's blessings backstage. He introduced me to Panditji as "my young student" and I prostrated before Panditji. I was around 12 then, starstruck at the sight of two of the luminaries of the time, up-front and close.
After all these years, it feels electrifying to listen to these greats again. While you take in the nuances as well as the theatrics don't miss the bonhomie on display between the late legends.
