Klein just blows penalties that literally just make me and my mates so confused, sutton is good besides how he handles ruck speed and lets some teams do heaps in the ruck and others not be able to do a tackle that lasts more than 2 seconds and Adam is just way way too harsh BUT i dont wanna see them have to front the media every week because they are only human, this is only a job and if i was in that position i imagine it would be bad for my mental health.A little pay rise that comes with the condition they need to review calls they individually made in the season and have some extra training would be ideal for everyone
@@damonmlinaric9254same with me bro 😂 every time I watch a game that’s reffed by Klein I just shake my head at some of the stuff he penalizes. I honestly think they should bring back 2 reffs and keep the bunker out of anything that isn’t a try scoring situation.
That’s why everyone gets so confused. I remember a few years back they were cracking down on the fast play the ball and everyone had to use or attempt to use their leg. Now certain clubs keep doing it and they don’t care, even though the rule hasn’t changed
That Crossland yellow card was BS, he was slowing the play down but that's a six again. If you're going to throw the yellow card at it due to time, whats the threshold? 1 minute? 2, 3, 4 or 5? It's ridiculous to change the penalty severity based of the clock. That is stepping down a path that shouldn't be trodden.
Graham Annesley coming out week after week & arrogantly dressing up bad decisions as correct ones is a complete waste of time. Case closed! eh Annesley.
bro 100%. 10 yrs ago all my mates loved NRL, now 3 of us remain. the rest cant stand the game and i find myself slowly following suit more each season. There's only so much BS the fans can take before they just turn their back on it.
I don't see them getting rid of the media scrum or whatever it's called to explain decisions. Annesley loves it too much. He get's to play politician again & stand behind his little podium while finger pointing & making excuses as to why he's right, everyone else is wrong & the system isn't broken.
Gus lost credibility on referees a long time ago. The panel is right that these aren't blocking, but Gus's arguments when it comes to referees include massive unconcious bias
But if the rule is new, and the refs intrepet it in one way, well how is that fair on the fans that pay good money to watch the game? Shouldn’t fan expectations play a part? You know, seeing as the fans fund the whole league.
By calling Annersly in, the NRL is basically admitting the ref made a mistake. [The decision] was such a howler, it caused enough angst among the press and public that the NRL felt it needed to be justified. Nineteen times out of twenty, the decision is judged to be correct, and everyone walks away dissatisfied. Nitpicking, because they can't admit they may, might. possibly, have made a slightly, only a little bit, not much at all wrong, error.
