Some iconic games Gus has been on the call for include Gonzaga/UCLA (2006), Florida/Gonzaga (1999), and Xavier/Kansas State (2010). He also called a couple of games from Davidson's Elite 8 run where Steph Curry emerged as a star. Johnson, employed by Fox since leaving CBS in 2011, is known for his infectious energy and passion, and he has certainly given us and continues to give us passion-filled calls, whether in basketball, football, or whatever sport he calls.
This video contains mainly clips from March Madness, but there are a fair share of non-NCAA Tournament games as well. I made sure to put his best and most well-known calls while also supplying some lesser-known ones. Also, since the 2000's weren't exactly the best for video quality, some of these clips look like they were filmed with a potato. However, Gus Johnson's amazing calls can still be heard.
