These are the most iconic commentary calls in NBA history and they get increasingly more iconic as the video goes on. Business Inquiries: mcosh3@gmail.com
@@sakur817but the 90s was a long ass time ago. To put in perspective, for someone in this decade the 90s is the same amount of time difference as the 60s was if you grew up in the 90s, which is a long ass time. Hearn’s style seems old as hell even for 90s people i think (I thought that clip look 80s but I could be wrong)
@@AkodoGarouI remember watching that game and not even hearing the commentator because I was so fucking hype and yelling so loud lol. Wasn't until later I watched the post game and heard it
@@Mataszki do you understand the magnitude of bringing attention to a historic highlight seconds BEFORE it happens? Its like calling a walkoff homer as the pitcher winds up
I still remember watching that game on TV live. It was insane. It has to be the highest rated regular season NBA game in the past 10-20 years. I swear everyone I know was watching that game.
Kawai's toronto shot will be my favorite clip of all time. The fact that the whole stadium is quiet enough to hear the rim be that loud as it bounces is actually insane.
You could have put a half dozen Stacy King calls from the Derrick Rose era on here....exciting basketball and an announcer that loves the game...I miss those years
“Underneath to Dj, lays it in!” Totally agree. This is a good video, but whoever put it together is probably pretty young. Not that I was around for that one, but it’s a top 5 call in NBA history. “A spectacular move, by Michael Jordan!” probably number 1 all time.
I'm so glad you put "Havlicek stole the ball!" here, that was one of the first hype basketball moments ever. Was waiting for "What a steal by Bird!" Against Isaiah's Pistons too but all in all good list.
“It’s not how you drive, it’s how you arrive.” “He just sucked the gravity out of the building!” “We just say a man fly! Ride em cowboy!” “Bryant… to Shaq!!!” My favorite calls for dunks.
4:28 there is no drug in this entire world that could give you even half of the high this man was feeling that night lol. Best comeback and biggest shot in basketball history.
Harlan's "no regard for human life" might be the greatest announcer call ever. Harlan is a legend. Also, never heard the fridge door close patter, that's brilliant.
"And now there's a steal by Bird! Underneath to DJ, lays it in!!" "5 seconds left, Magic down the middle, just what I thought, a hook shot at 12, GOOOOOOOD!!!" Those are two of the top 5 most iconic calls of all time and they weren't here!
5:50 I’m from Portland and remember watching that game live and going wild with my buddies. We knew Lillard was a real one from day one and he was the gift we needed at a crucial time.
