Babel is the original soundtrack album, on the Concord label, of the 2006 Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe Award-winning film Babel starring Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, Adriana Barraza, Gael García Bernal, Rinko Kikuchi and Koji Yakusho. The original score and songs were composed and produced by Gustavo Santaolalla.
Gustavo Alfredo Santaolalla is an Argentine musician, film composer and producer. He has won two Academy Awards for Best Original Score in two consecutive years, for Brokeback Mountain in 2005, and Babel in 2006.
The album won the Academy Award for Best Original Score and the BAFTA Award for Best Film Music. It was also nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score.

This soundtrack makes me feel lonely but in a good way. It's like im sitting in a rooftop and im just watching the world passing by. All the happy and sad moments of your life or the life of your parents/ siblings/ your loved ones. I embrace the world . I can feel emotions of another person. I just love it.

It's the dramatic switch from Minor keys to Major keys for me. That's the emotion you're all talking about. From desperation to revelation and back to desperation. I used to put on this DVD, fast forward to the end credits and play this song over and over and over and over whilst lying on my bed, just thinking. Amazing.

живи и радуйся дитя божье не переживай за маму у неё покой и он ейй необходим. я Тоже в 12 лет сиротой стал. Но живу и радуюсь всё хорошо. В детдоме нашёл друзей которые заменили и отца и брата. А насчёт жизни мы все здесь временны и уйдём неизбежно каждый в свой час а там если заслужим увидим своих близких папу маму дедушку детей которые ушли у кого то раньше чем их родители, Тока живи и больше улыбайся.
