i cannot beleive this guy's ability to dig deep and pulling the emotions in out of us...happy? sad? pleasing? real? surreal? magical? multi dimensional? etc...i get lost listening to his music that he creates...what a beauty to hear
I have used this song to put my two children to bed until they reached the age of 5/6. My daughter was born in 2012 and my son in 2015. This song holds such a special place in my families hearts and lives. Such a beautiful piece(s) of music!
I agree! One shot, no edits. Where was that camera? Compare it to the final scene of the 1975 film, The Passenger by Michelangelo Antonioni, starring Jack Nicholson. One of my favourite films. Both wonderful films with wonderful endings.
Memories of a broken heart from 2007. We were just kids learning about love- in over our heads. This track is tied to the most intense human connection in my life. It’s been years, but the memories remain and I never forgot. That love will remain, frozen in time. Wherever you are- I wish you the best in this life. I’ll see you again in the next.
I dont think there is any filmmaker in history who pays as much attention to every single detail of his films and cares about the profound art of cinema more than Alejandro González Iñárritu. The man is truly an artist.
Vache Sarkissian I agree that he is a great director and I adore his movies! But what about other great talents? :) E.g. Pedro Almodovar, Bahman Ghobadi, Nikita Mihalkov....? Hopefully the world is big and we are blessed to enjoy the work of talented people.
Hermosa, sublime, sencilla como las cosas verdaderamente importantes en la vida. No más palabras, sólo la música. Directa al corazón. Grande Santaolalla.
I don't remember what I saw then, I don't remember what I heard then, but listening to your music I recall what I felt then. Gustavo, you are a true master.
for some reason, some music resonates with me. I know it does when I get goosebumps, a stomach ache, or both together. This beautiful melody gives me a stomach ache right under my ribcage. It hurts but I love it so much. A good hurt. Does this happen to anyone else?
oh yea some music more than others, I like all kinds of music only a couple I don't and depending on whats happening in my life at the moment the right music will make me feel like it does with you and also it can even bring me down to my knees with tears just part of the healing process. I'm a big harden leathery man and to be affected like this goes to show you the power of music!
The beginning is Bibo no Aozora by Ryuichi Sakamoto, the second is Charge of the Herd written by Philip A. Scheib who was a staff writer for Paramount pictures. Wonderful pieces of music whatever way you look at it, and a fitting musical ending for such a powerful movie as Babel.
This is the "lullaby" music for this film. The plot and motive of the melody just coincides with how little time we devote to our children. We run away somewhere ... hurry .. not notice ..... this is the whole tragedy of our life ... So do not rush to be adults! ........ You miss a lot of things! ... Do not rush!
The first song is called Bibo no Aozora (Beautiful Blue Sky) and was composed by R. Sakamoto. Then the song is linked to Endless Flight by Mr. G. Santaolalla. It's not a big deal.
Catolina A.g. if the other side effects of this week to discuss your time in my head of state of California for you guys think I am going through my email and any of you have a few of them have to go with it for you guys think I am going through my email and any of you have a few of them have to go with it for you guys think I am going through my email and any of you have a few of them have to go with it for you guys think I am going through my email and any of you have a few of them have to go with it for you guys think I am going through my email and any of you have a few of them have to go with it for you guys think I am going
I’m sure I’m not the only one who listens to this and is immediately filled to the brim with memory provoked nostalgia to the point of it being painful….
This melody talks about the moment when you realize that everyone and everything you've ever met are gone, forever. and your'e alone in this world, hopeless and terrified.
Di un manera magico Sr. Santaolalla a sa di traduci emocion humano den musica cual ta laga cada ken cu scuch'e inspira pa biba mas intenso. Mi lo kier hiba su cancionnan den mi soño pa asina mi lanta mainta motiva.
This song helped me through a lot. It helped me understand my childhood, myself, and my comprehension of music. It helped me realize that I am more than a body, but a flowing mass of energy.
I always feel sad the most for the Japanese girl. This song Reminds me of her struggle with her mothers death and with her friends and ability to fit in.
Having discovered Soda Stereo, Spinetta Jade, I felt something like a wide awakening. Then I went through more bands.. I thought I wouln't discover anything more, so new, gentle, different and touching me to the deep. Then I discovered Andres Calamaro, the song Contigo. This song cut me and sealed to the deep. Today, after listening to this song I think again: I've never heared something like that. So into my heart, so into my soul. Argentina what you have that you speak so close to me?
this is not a youtube video, this is music, and of course he isnt saying that literaly, its just a way to tell that anyone who can t apriciate this is not in their selfs... and theres something wrong with them.
