I like what coach is doing. Bring in several QBs with potential, work them out during training camp and see who wants to fight for the starting position. I look forward to watching him draw the best out of these candidates and who rises to the occasion. Go Broncos!

Cold hard facts Bronco fans , Pat Bowlen was the Broncos. He was the best owner in football, we were spoiled as fans. He spent every day trying to build a Superbowl team in Denver and it showed. Never be the same again.

Wilson is a no risk shot and we will see if they can develop him into something.

Look we have a lot of money to clear up in the next 2 seasons this is not a one off season fix. I’m gonna ride with the front office I trust the process.

Another thing to consider is look who brought in all those FA QB's that didn't work out. They were all middling to god awful offensive coaching staffs. Look what Stefanski did with Flacco. It wasn't all world, but it was way better than our midwit staff. If Sean Payton thinks a freebie look at a former 2nd overall pick is worth it, I trust him. I mean, it's literally a freebie lottery ticket. It means NADA about the draft, which is why I think everyone's so upset, because in the back of their mind they're thinking "oh god, we're not drafting a QB." This trade doesn't change a darn thing and Wilson might not even make the team.

I love how the mindset is if Denver doesn’t get a QB high this yr it’s all over. The real rebuild started this offseason. Draft a QB every yr forever. Draft trenches every yr. Let’s hope under Sean that begins now. Also, people are gonna praise Payton so should be good with him trying to fix players. We paid massive for Payton

Wilson is the same age as Bo Nix.

DiNucci is probably the safest QB on the roster, he's your practice squad/scout team guy. Wilson is worth $2.5mil, Stidham is worth $5 mil. I see those two competing with each other for the backup spot, and loser goes. Late 1st round rookie is your starter by end of the year.

Get Bo Nicks at 12. He will be there. Zac was cheap insurance as a backup. I want Nicks to start this year. No training wheels needed. Lots of bumps and bruises this year.

I get people who are saying 'hit rate on round 1 QB's is only 33%' , but my response is, you have to take a Swing at some point, whenever you do take that swing, the odds of success aren't suddenly going to double, and, finally, when you do finally decide to take that Swing, you almost certainly will be Trading up to take that swing, because you probably aren't getting the No 1 overall pick next year, or the year after that.

I am with michayla I have been on edge for awhile then these pitiful rollback unis come out. I have collected for 20 years and refuse to buy that, then we get zack wilson... If we dont draft jj, maye, or nix I am afraid my loyalty just doesnt lie with walmart. 💔

If Zach Wilson is just a hedge - I agree wholeheartedly. We made a late move with regards to getting a FA QB on something that we should have done right after we got rid of Russ. If this is the case, we should have made a move for Justin Fields (Steelers got him for a 6th round pick plus his low rookie salary). At least Fields has shown to be a starting QB with a huge upside. Wilson will be a project for Sean Peyton. We are in a full rebuild and we got to accept that - and this can be the stop gap in that rebuild. I think this well change our draft strategy and I hope we move down now, get more picks (2nd round) and get more players to fill some holes FIRST to build the team - then get a QB that can succeed with the right infrastructure around him....

Granted R.Wilson was far from being able to control and lead an offense. It's my belief that Payton wants players in his control of an offensive scheme in place. I also believe he will draft a QB as well. It's usually the quarterbacks that get drafted late that prove to be the better pick. They find themselves with something to prove to the rest that are waiting for a bonified leader to win them a Lombardi Trophy. QB pick 1...Offensive lineman pick 2.

Zach Wilson heard there’s a lot of cougars in Denver. He’s REALLY excited now.

As a broncos fan, I’m extremely disappointed about the uniforms… the mountains on the shoulder pads look like a lightning bolt to me… The blue is too dark and looks like black… Taking the stripe off of the helmet in the middle, makes it look too plain …. The throwbacks are fire 🔥 at least I was super excited looking forward to this day and now I’m just incredibly disappointed 😔

You guys are putting the blame on Zack Wilson being a bad quarterback. There are other factors. Like a terrible offense line, a offense line that had multiple injuries. Also you had Hacket as a coach. How did he do in Denver? This gamble is no worse then drafting quarterbacks from the 4th quarterback on. Now Zack has a offense coach who is better at recognizing a quarterbacks strengths and weaknesses.

3 years into his career(same length as Zach Wilson) Drew brees had more Int than Tds, and he had under 60% completion percentage and only had 1 season over 3000 yards. Zach Wilson at 3 years in is equal to Brees 3 years in.

Zack, I don’t know that Payton thought he could fix Russ. I imagine that he told the Walton-Penner group he would try to make it work with Russ. It wasn’t his choice and Paton made the investment. I think he only took the job because he could dump 3 if he didn’t see it could work. They are just taking a chance on Zack. Hell, is Nix or Penix demonstrably better than Zack Wilson? Just asking. I can’t answer that question. It’s going to be very difficult moving up for an unproven JJ. I’m not sure the QB of the future is going to be able to be chosen in this draft without giving up Surtain and two or three first round picks.

Either way we might be around the same record. A rookie won't help no matter who it is. Just hope we aren't the bottom of the west this year. Be patient and breath.

It’s a mid move, but we aren’t trying to recover from a HUGE miss from the Russ trade. Broncos fans are done but it’s mainly cause front office is missing so badly for a long time…

Dude had atrocious lines, weapons and coaching. Not saying he will get him to his ceiling everyone thought coming out but it cost nothing for a kid that has tools under a great offensive coach. I still think they need to draft a guy to add to the room but this was a good move imo.

We just need to draft one of the top 5 QB’s in the first round and end the madness. Go Broncos.

Hey guys I know that this might trigger a lot of bad memories for Broncos fans, but think about the timing. A lot of coaches say everything that happens a week before the draft is a smoke screen. Wilson might just be the cheapest quarterback that the Broncos could sign to hopefully decrease the appearance of a bidding war to trade up. That might not be what is going on but either way I think it's no fun to be a fairweather fan. Think about how rewarding the years with Manning were after the Broncos got rid of Josh McDaniel.

I absolutely Hated this News! I think I even lost a heartbeat when a friend first told me about the trade. Maybe this is all a smokescreen, a way to make Sean Peyton look less Desperate when he goes to the bargaining table on Thursday. I will keep on Hoping.

The Wilson trade makes no sense other than some sort of deep backup for if the draft goes wrong. In terms of uniform, can we get a damn horse on our main outfit? Throwbacks are nice. Cheers

All wilson is is a back up plan in case we dont get our guy in draft we have to have competition for stidham. Id rather have wilson than stidham

IMO this is a low risk high reward, the high reward isnt Zach Wilson the future , but Sean Payton can make Zach look like he is a true starter and can trade him before trade deadline to get most a 1st rounder the least a 5th. Anything more than a 6th is a good reward. If Zach proves he can be a starter, than i could see a 3rd round for him. I didnt see us draft a qb and starting them this year anyways. It would be smarter to have our rookie qb sit 1 year to learn and devolp then unleash him once we can build around him. If we throw any of the rookie qbs outside the top 3 qbs, they will be crushed and lose confidence. I rather throw Zach on this team, and have him either succeed or fail this year. If Zach fails we lose really nothing, if he has some success then we get draft picks to build around our rookie qb. Idk i dont a problem with getting Zach. Also if something weird happens in the draft where all of the qbs Sean like gets taken before we can draft them then we have at least something to work with. With Zach Wilson at least we arent force to reach for a qb this draft. Idk i just want this team to off this qb slump by 2026.

Massive overreaction. We move back from pick 203 to 256 and split the salary. This is a low risk move to compete with stidham because they most likely were humbled a bit in how much they like him. Also not like he had the best offensive situation in new york

I can't believe the vibes over today. People are buggin out. Vibes all over planet earth are the same way. I promise you all, there are things much worse to bug out over. 1. The unis aren't that bad. They aren't perfect but they'll grow on us. Back in 97, people were way more upset than they were today. Pat Bowlen was the owner and people were furious over it. They all ended up coming around. If people are ready to jump ship over a uni, see ya. 2. Can we at least just factor in Sean Payton? I think the man has done enough in the NFL with offense to warrant letting him FOOL AROUND and see if he can strike a lottery ticket like a Tannehill. Wilson has never had offensive coaching like this. He just came from Hackett, and before Hackett it wasn't great either and we all know it. Mike LaFleur got fired, went to LA, and gets to sit under McVay for a minute (lucky for him). 3. If Zach Wilson shows no signs of anything, so what.
