Hi Jeff, go listen to his song ‘Monsters’. The kid that won American Idol this year used it as his audition song, and he had all three judges crying, and two of them were men. That video is available too. His name was Iam Tongi. Yes, that is the right spelling. He is Tongan. Big kid with a beautiful voice and a huge heart.

@@philwragg9756 But then it is how you're brought up, we're all individuals. That was what the wording in Monsters was about. I'm not your father, you're not my son we are just 2 grown men saying goodbye. They were the words the father and son said to each other when James Blunt deployed to Kosovo as part of the NATO peacekeeping force. The father was a Colonel in the military and the son went to boarding school since aged 7, they were not comfortable wearing their heart on their sleeve, the only difference being James Blunt puts it into his music, because he is not comfortable doing it in real life, to a bunch of strangers. It is rather like at the end of making the video Monsters the father said to everyone around, why are you all crying I'm still here? The father had stage 4 kidney disease was expected to die no donor having been found and the song and video was the goodbye from his son. But one of the most telling gestures was at the end, when the father who shed no tears placed his hand on the arm of his son whose grief and heartbreak was palpable, it showed love, support and comfort was wordless and the look they shared was between them alone. We are all different, and the world sometimes needs those differences in life, like pieces of a jigsaw, otherwise those pieces just would not fit.
