Here's how it works in Portland: right wingers require police authorisation (including applying for permits beforehand) for any sort of public event including protests. Perfectly fine. Before the event begins right wingers and press are checked for approval and searched for weapons. Once the events begin, atifa appear and are either allowed through barricades or somehow no police happen to be around when they push through. Obviously antifa are not searched. So they're the only ones who are armed. In this case with police batons, quick drying cement (a caustic, acidic substance) in milkshake containers and bear spray, all of which they used on Andy. Previously (in incidents where they fought proud boys and the one Crowder reported to the FBI) they had hammers, knives and guns as well. Can't win when the police are either complicit or ordered to stand down by a police commissioner-and-mayor who is.

I have called the mayor of Portland as well as the Portland business Alliance and the Chamber of Commerce to tell them I will never take my family on vacation in Oregon again. It is an absolutely gorgeous State and we have enjoyed vacationing there but will never ever set foot in that Lawless State again prayers for Andy and the others that were assaulted at this latest riot. I used to enjoy listening to Juan, but he has completely become immersed in Trump derangement syndrome. He has nothing of value to say anymore. Hi there from South Africa - a quick question all. Politics aside - How come it is legal for gangs to wear masks at a protest? And if they are allowed, surely violence is predicted and there should be measures in place to arrest or control masked thugs? People don’t wear masks in peaceful protests or to create awareness.
