All other presidents didn't even bother to talk much about reunification of Korea, but President Trump has been making so much effort to seek peaceful ways, so we , the South Koreans, think there is a real prospect of peaceful reunification. His visit & actions may seem meaningless to you, but Democrat presidents NEVER contacted N. Korea & said 'Let's make a deal to officially end the war' & held face to face meetings like President Trump.

@@junikim263 you're absolutely right. They *"the Democrat Presidents, especially OBAMA"* have always treated North Korea as a political scapegoat in States. When they're signing something terrible or trying to get reelected... They would prod and antagonize North Korea, nothing short of petty games for politicians. To say there's no way that there could ever be a peaceful resolution without taking their arms would be the same as omitting our own arm in the States and forgetting that these arms seem to be the only great equalizer of countries. Everyone's at a stalemate when it comes to this topic. I think his meeting like this will open up North Korea and help all of your people. I also have a suspicion that China may be trying to strongarm North Korea for their own benefit on the island. Before they ever met the first time, China abruptly called Kim to meet them. I think he's weighing the odds and knows the enemy of his enemy is his friend. In this scenario, Trump may be the only honest chance to sort it out... without a fear mongering politician for Korea as a whole to be left alone if this is the case. Any ways, it's a huge step! 👍🏼👍🏼
