Gutting the Interior of my 240sx Project

Go get one of those garage tents for the b-ball court? You could even run a/c to it. I still say make it run before paint. Old hair dryer works for sound deadener removal. Follow that up with laquer thinner.

The trick with the dry ice is neat and i like the sound of the Rocket Bunny kit idea.

Doing your sound deading is always a pain. I use to use heat as it goes soft especially on the sides. Always awesome content Kayla. Your such a beautiful lady 🤩. Aussie Fan 💯🇦🇺🤣

I commented on your first s13 video. The rear fenders needs a bit more cutting to fit the RB kit. I’m from Az too. my s13 is 2jzgte swap with v2 rocket bunny kit, it’s black with carbon fiber on some parts of the kit and it’s on Vs-kf

They have dry ice blasters it's like sand blasting but it don't hurt the paint or wires just takes all the rust and grime off the car

Slowly but surely it is coming along.

Yah the first time i saw the Dry Ice trick was when Emelia Hartford did it to her G Body. I would have never thought that sh_t would work...hey dont put sound deadening, remember: Weight Savings. You dont need it, its a Drift Car not a Daily....i was crossing my fingers too when you took that wide body panel off. Lol. Thank god the original panel was intact. 👍

Great content, but the click ads are getting out of hand, people watch on their living room tv's, that means every 2 min, you have to get the remote and hit skip 4 times in 9 min. Subbed for the civic and also LS tech. love the 240 build. Once my friend Travis and I took out the sound material with an air chisel in a mitsubishi eclipse, took about 2 hours I'd say and ear protection, then primed, then high build primer, then painted. The high build was because air chisel leaves thousands of tiny dimples in the floorboard. It all looked fine after fixing. the hight Good channel Kayla

If you go bare metal on floor pans I'd say heat protecting pads on firewall or on the floor just so that the inside of your car doesn't get really hot when you drive it in the Arizona heat. Project is going to come out great.

get bags of regular ice throw it in the car ....it wont rust in az hot weather.... it will get brittle and be easier to chip out

you can use a blowtorch and heat the sound deadening and it will peel off but just don’t melt it

Heat gun will help on the sides

Kayla, I love to watch your videos! However, the existing roll-cage in your project car looks like it was put together with bubble gum! I would not trust it, as I do not know the type of tube material and the wall thickness! Looking as the existing workmanship on that car I would not feel safe in that car with that cage! You need a second opinion on that cage! (I do not think that cage would pass any technical inspection!) I am looking forward to your next video on your project car!
