Yeasss baby. Aaron can still get it as long as he hushes no questions asked....lol been looking for all live performances all day. Enjoying my day... yeas baby..
For everybody asking about what happened to Aaron Hall, he's been suffering from health issues. I went to a show about a year ago where Guy was supposed to perform, but right before they hit the stage, Damian came out to say that they weren't going to perform because Aaron had a stroke earlier in the day and was in the hospital. It's good to see that he has recovered and able to get back on stage period.
Concert Daily So sad to hear that. There's performances on here just prior to this one where he was sounding just as good as back in the day. I hope he gets better soon. We need the veterans to show these young folk what real R&B is.
All you people who up here complaining about Aaron's voice I'm sure are not professional singers themselves when you become a professional singer and you sing as many times as he did and your voice has a cyst or anyting that contribute to your vocal cords Being bruised you're going to have a problem Chaka Khan went through it she had to have surgery to correct it if I'm not mistaken I think it was Cisco or somebody went through it that's what happens when you sing a lot and don't rest your voice and then you have surgery and you don't heal I know a lot of people in the music industry who had issues with their voice and needed surgery And he had a stroke so instead of bashing him pray for him and be grateful that he still among us because we're losing our soldiers like water
wow, awesome indeed, great seeing my all time favorite group swinging it. I wish one day Teddy Riley, Timothy Gatling, Aaron and Damion Hall would get all together once again!
Aaron sounds like signature rough around the edges Aaron! Not sure why all the negativity on his vocals. Here in 2022, praying for that Guy Reunion Tour, because they can have my money!
My favorite group of all time!!!!! This is such a good thing.......real talk.....especially how they constantly beefing on social media.......another album guys!!!!
A healthy voice actually gets stronger as u age. And starts to drop off around 65. He’s had some health issues. Charlie Wilson is way older and continues to sing in the same key as he did when he was with the gap band
Love Charlie, but his songs aren’t and have never been as vocally strenuous as Aaron’s. Aaron has far more octaves, riffs and runs. Find at least two male vocalists who can come close to sounding like AH while covering just one of his songs; and I’ll possibly agree with you, sir! No one remakes his classics because it’s vocally too difficult.
@@rillesttalk You can’t compare the two at all. Aaron hall was OK. Simply listen to them LIVE. There is no comparison. Vocally even in his 70’s Charlie Wilson is unmatched. You can tell Aaron Hall was inspired by CW
Guy and Teddy was my favorite group in late eighties and early nineties. Teddy was baddest producer back then. New Jacki Swing Yep Yep St. Nick Projects bldg 225
Aaron sounds great to me; we have got to stop listening for the recorded, studio enhanced sounds when people are performing live; they did great in my opinion.
Absolutely! Aaron did great vocally while playing to the crowd. I’ve been watching these Brothas live since ‘88 and they always open up with their energetic dancing routine to “I Like”. Being over 50, I think it’s time to start slow and end the show with upbeat tunes like “Groove Me”, “I Like”, “Round and Round” etc.
Cree-Aaron Hall sounded horrible...... y'all better stop lying!- Send him to rehab. Christopher Williams can sing this fool back into retirement. THUMBS UP 🖒

@mooky, this is the beginning. They are on stage together which is massive. If Damion joins them, anything can happen. Maybe, even a FULL show. This particular show was just a showcase. It was a 'teaser' show. Onwards and upwards.
+Vijay Chandegra Vijay, Damion is the reason why we wont see another Guy album. he's still annoyed with Teddy being in two groups. Btw, what happened to NJS4E, I used to love the interviews.
Vijay Chandegra Great stuff, it's shocking how much good unreleased material is out there from the 90's.. If I was a man with $, I'd create a Spotify or streaming service where labels can collectively upload these albums. They're just in a vault gathering dust and not making cash.
I dont understand why people show up to just sit down the whole time and have the I am so uninterested look on there faces. Do your homework before purchase if that's the case.
Times change... we have to remember he's not the same... HOWEVER.. he's a natural singer and it's shame he's voice isn't stronger... I mean, he could probably get it back if stripped it down and did vocal exercise... and took the key down 1.5 steps until he can get comfortable again... but still don't sound that bad...
Aaron has never felt he got the recognition he feels he deserved by the public, industry, etc. He's so talented but gets in his damn feelings and head too much!!!
Love it, but he didnt sing his normal range on half the songs, he let the audience do it because he could barely reach the notes, but thats better than sounding bad. I wouldve done the same thing.
Ra Nu definitely Besides even if they were lip syncing their fans would be thankful just to see them on stage these guys took New York by storm in 1989 and then the whole world.i remember seeing teddy in his SUV with Guy written in graffiti on his spare tire cover. out in SOHO on a Saturday night when we were heading to the Tunnel. It was truly flossing 😎 that was the beginning of a new era in R&B way ahead of the times so much so that even when Fester R u kidding Kelly the molester was blowing up many didn’t realize he wasn’t doing anything new but in fact just Jacking Teddy Riley and Guys style.Definitely unique!

Dude you must be crazy. The R had no kind of staying power, Aaron is a legend and always will be. Back in the day everybody wanted to look like, sing like and be like Guy. All R Kelly could do was bite ever every artist that he came in contact with. And even more couldn't sing worth a lick.
U are dumb as shit. U said R Kelly can't sing. Well I got one question for you. Did Aaron write songs for Micheal Jackson. No his bitchass didn't. Yeah R Kelly bit off Aaron Hall no question about it. But R Kelly will always be better than Aaron Hall.
I am disappointed with the sound engineering. Guy's vocals DESERVE to be HEARD and folks came to hear this great band at PEAK mix. Without the jealous greedy music executives New Jack Swing would have been our music staple.
Get off that man , I put them trained R&B ears on it he sound good listen to his riffs in piece of my love 😍. He did his thang ! That’s school RnB he use to get gritty that hard singing. That one song of piece of my love and all the runs is more work than 5 Chris brown songs put together
Obviously he's not going to sound the same as in 2000. Age, health challenges & possible drug or alcohol use can contribute to the change in sound. I'll keep my personal opinion to myself, because I don't know him. I wish them well..
This is really sad to see. Aaron is not able to hit any of his high notes. Im a couple of years older than him and Im still able to hit those ......I saw him in 2004 in LA, his voice was still on at that time, so I dont know whats going on here
Andrew Staples I`m the same age. I`m 53, but I still hit the high notes in his songs. Stevie Wonder is in his 60s and still hits high notes. I think maybe he didn`t take care of himself
Not all the time is drugs that destroy your voice cuz I know a lot of people who did drugs who can still sing but if you got a cyst on your vocal cords and you Singing All The time An not letting your voice Heal That happens Chaka went thru The same Thing And had to have surgery on Her Throat
@@planestrainsandautomobile6651 You say the same thing on every comment it has nothing to do with him being on drugs The man had a stroke show some respect to your elders
First and foremost Aaron Hall had surgery he had a stroke When you have surgery on your throat and you not letting it heal in enough time and you got to get on that road what you expect he's older than R Kelly
You sound like a miserable person you don't even know what happened this man had surgery and everything so why don't you shut up and get a life cuz I'm sure you now singer
Aaron lost it plain and simple. He is not the same Aaron of the late 80's early to mid 90's. Very few singers can maintain the type of Dynamic Range he once had. I only watched this because he had a poor performance on Soul Train, and they were right. He lost it.
