I have a re bullet of year 1980 its still start in one kick after months its its not just bike its art on two wheels

space_ surferr Royal Enfield have stopped manufacturing the 500 bullet this year due to emissions laws. Sad when you think of how long they have made it.

@@decab8292 classic 350, Continental gt 65 twin, interceptor and Himalayan are still highly in demand and company are making these except the 500 other models are selling, company isn't dead only one model is out of assembly line others are doing fine

@@decab8292 they stopped making the 500 because no one like them they are not fuel efficient like the 350 so they move and stopped the production if you need power go for 650 twins

Was about to go to a RE dealer to buy one, but then I saw it's an Indian company...what a travesty. Thought, the UK had more pride than that. This is coming from America.

@@VitalyMack It's no different to many companies making stuff abroad really. Apple makes 99% of things in China, but it's still American. Enfield even in India will be making it due to British standards from back in the day.

Interesting fact, the Air Despatchers are still trained for SERE (survive, evade, resist and extract) to this day and are one of the few jobs in the British military were it is considered mandatory training

Bud, it was the army who did this air drop (the RAF piloted but it is 47 Air Despatch Sqn, RLC that handle all air drops of equipment) and although you are right about it being dropped by only the frame during WW2 all the extra stuff was used to protect it by the owners request. The motor cycle is very rare and very old so to convince the owner to allow it to be air dropped he asked for every precaution to be taken and witnessed the container that held the motorcycle be built so it could be explained what was happening and why. I was formerly an Air Despatcher and was there when it was happening (I was not on camera), a lot of footage was cut so you don’t see why things were done the way they were.
