Wow!! ..This is the first time seeing this.....Lord!!!...I miss the 90s....Hip-hop and R&B was at its greatest in the early 90s....This took me sooooo far back....I love Hip hop....
They just had it goin' on. Aaron's voice with Teddy's production was a win-win. I love their little outfits too. They were tearin' that running' man up. I really miss these days.
I just had my 15 year old crackin up laughing trying to show her the dance that they now do but has another name. I told her it originated in my childhood era.
Timmy wants that to happen. He said so in a interview with half time almost a year ago. However, the guys have to iron some issues out, in regards to how dirty Timmy was kicked out the group.
THIS...was the ish back in the day. As a matter of fact...it still is. New Jack, Guy, Arsenio Hall! Those were the days!!!! Somebody build me a da*n time machine! :)
@@spacemind8636 it's not a talkbox because there's no tube running from his mouth to the keyboard for modulation. all of the modulation is coming from the microphone he's wearing, so it has to be a vocoder.
Guy, esp. Teddy Riley, Aaron Hall, Heavy D, and many others the NJS gen were incomparable! not only could they sing BUT they could do it live, plus dance and entertain! dont see that crap now?!!! exactly, CFreak, pay tribute, NJ Swing paved the way. keeping it real in the Chi
I'm 100% SURE that R. Kelly's song "She Got That Vibe", Bobby Brown's song "My Prerogative" and Bruno Mars's song "Finesse" were ALL INSPIRED by this MUSIC STYLE!
Being born in 91 its such a tease. I have foggy memories of stuff like this so there's personal love for it but by the time I was old enough to appreciate or attend it, times changed and it was gone. Good thing for youtube though.
Thank God this music was in my genre.....forever luv Guy! Arsenio had the best music groups on his show fo sho! Saw Aaron in concert & best believe he can still deliver! Damn...not bad for a 48 yr old! Vegas in the house! Hey! ;-)
They acted a fool on this one. Lol. Jamming to damn hard and those dancers was giving them the business. These fools out here today aint got nothing on them dancers in this vid.
The smart ones can instantly tell this is what sparked Dr Dre's 90s voyage into the artistic manipulation of dynamic (sample ready) The Parliament funk sound!
Man its dope when you dedicate a song ta the producer. They never really get a lot of credit ("But they get the money" Chris Rock voice). But still doe. They was all in and Bro. Teddy was actual member of the group.
