@@StubbornMook while I do believe he was a part of the reason Whitney did what she did, indirectly or not, he is definitely portrayed as the big bad guy, when it certainly wasn't just his fault, far from it.
Something deep down tells me that when Bobby and Whitney met they were both taking drugs. She was just doing it discreetly and when they realised it was something they both loved doing, it became a whole toxic relationship altogether. Bobby was seen as the bad one because his dirt was already out there since New Edition when he was messing up before being kicked out but Whitney had this good girl image and it wasn't shown all over the media so it looked as though Bobby lead her down that path. I agree Bobby did a lot of shit coming up but I think he really loved Whitney. It must be hard on him rising as a star to have people continuously crush him for what happened to Whitney.
@@wayneishawilson5303 if yall dont know FACTS you all should not be going off speculation. FACT HER BROTHER PUT HER ON DRUGS WAY B4 SHE MET BOBBY 🤷♀️IT WAS ON THE OPRAH SHOW. Like Teddy R. Said he shouldn't never went with Whitney he should have just focused on his career
all I can say is that I now understand why we were so skinny back in the day...we were exercising! bobby and kid n play had us coming off the dance floor looking like we'd just gotten out of the shower! :) oh how I miss my youth
this the same thing my mama told me! People/songs like this had everybody dancing and that explains why people were so skinny back then! Wish it was still like this today
sameolhim Agreed. He was also one of the first to combine Rnb singing and Rap. The Rappers would rap over tracks but Bobby was really one of the first singers who knew how to make it seem effortless. Many other RNB singers start doing the same But unfortunately they had to get other artists to rap. Bobby did not. He started a trend.
sameolhim I agree! Bobby Brown in his hey day was an exceptional performer, very talented! In my humble opinion, Bobby stage presence as far as singing and dancing on stage simultaneously is energectic and magical like Michael Jackson👍
He's so talented. Dancing comes so naturally to him like breathing is for us. Why did he get hooked on drugs? Sometimes I wonder what life would have been for him if he never meet drugs. :( Still love you though Bobby.
If you watch “ a Bobby Brown Story “ that he & His Current Wife Produced / hired the cast to tell his Story etc. He & Whitney were Still Abusing Drugs / getting arrested through out his Teens & The 90’s & 2000’s as Well . He has a Extensive Record & Was Still Gettin’ Lifted in His Prime / here etc. He just Had Energy & a Bad Temper & Talent sorta like Chris Brown / James Brown in Their Prime / & Controversies etc. He Just Let The Drugs entertain Him / lose His Inhibition by the Time They Had Bobbi Kistina & Whitney & Him were STILL Getting High Together almost O.D. / Close Calls etc.
One of the best performers to this day !!! Had the pleasure of seeing him in person and he gave the audience 150% of pure pleasure... I will always love Bobby Brown... May GOD bless him and his family. Thanks for this posting.
Bobby is the shit! I have no idea how he's able to sing and dance like that without breathing hard as hell! Literally not even outta breath.....song is the JAM!
Bobby Brown inspired me to dance even more at all types of social events and this very performance at the Arsenio Hall Show has been imprinted in my heart since I first witnessed it as a child. I even had a pair of those dance shoes!💪💯💗
I love it. All I know is when I wanna rewatch it, I think where's the BB performance where he's on Arsenio dancing like a crab? Shit don't make no kinda sense, but in my head it does. He's phenomenal. 🦀😩🤣
2:15 Bobby pushed it I saw Don't be cruel tour in several Cities Certified Entertainment the ticket sales proved it like he said on The intro live" if you want to this show You must stand up" backed up with countdown & Explosions..he moved and grooved when Legendary drummer Soto was on Duty the timing was amazing New Jack Swing sound absorbing the industry One love /R.I.P to MJ & Prince (My all time favorite Live artist) Bobby had the It Factor that album was dynamic smooth young adult R&B Bobby created his own lane and live Bobby had Raw grit energy .
INCREDIBLE! I was hollerin as soon as it hit the radio and the rythm started on the radio before the lyrics kicked in. And this the first time ever i saw him live.....never knew he had this much energy, thought it was all studio...
He was such an amazing performer and a triple threat rap/sing and dance and his voice control was off the charts. If he'd have been a little more disciplined, kept his bearing and not got involved with Whitney, he would have been at Michael Jackson level fame and numbers
I love this video I was 14 recorded it the same night it came on everyday after school me and my brother rehearsing every dance step. I can do all their videos till this day in my 40s lol
@@rickeykelly5212 well money was not the reason for Bobbys departure tho. Dude just didnt want to behave. And Ice cube was smart enough to realize they we're being exploited.
