Good evening, This is one of the most beautiful events. I dont remember seeing this type of fair before. Is this the same location each year? The traffic is quite busy where they host the event. National park would be better and safer for pedestrians 🚶♀️ . I remember when we used to have Miss. Diwali each year. I wish that would return. I, too, only like the sweets. Guyana has one of the BEST in diversity where it comes to the celebration of any religion / cultural events. We are all proud!! It doesn't look appropriate for people to be sitting in the sand with their gorgeous outfit. The organizers could have done better. It was a nice event. AWESOME!!!
This is not "The Grand Celebration"... it's a Pre-Diwali Event. The Grand Celebration which is on Diwali Day, is done at the Homes / Houses of our Hindu Brothers and Sisters.
