Thank you for adding measurements to your recipes. I always have such a hard time making Guyanese dishes due to family members never having measurements 😂
Thanks so much for the recipe, I tried and my bakes came out great!!! This was my first time making it 👌🏽. I especially liked that you listed the ingredients.
Thank you so much for the recipe! It's delicious but unfortunately my husband wants me to cook it every weekend now! 😂 in my opinion, it was worth rolling it out in balls and didn't take much time at all. How long can you keep the uncooked dough in the fridge? Thanks
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 yes ripe bananas mashed then let them sit in sugar for about 30 min before adding to the mixture , this is the most I can remember lol
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 a touch of cinnamon , I know there wasn’t any essence added we would eat it with salt fish or like fried eggs with onion / pepper
This is the best bake recipe ever!!!! My bake never came out this soft and delicious until I found your recipe.Your measurements are precise and the outcome is amazing 😋!!!!

Thank you Matthew, I make those bakes sometimes but I've never used milk I am definitely going to try your recipe. I would love you to make potato roti sometime.
Just stumbled on to you site. What I find encouraging, and would like to encourage you to keep doing, is that you give these essential tips that I suspect save viewers from making mistakes. E.g. not adding cold liquids to your bake flour-mixture, or while cooking curry: watch for the oil to start separating from the paste at the end of frying it up. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
