A memorial match was held yesterday 6th July at Kaiteur Cricket Ground in Kitchener/Waterloo Canada in honour of Albion, Berbice, Everest, Guyana, Cavaliers and Canada Legend Fazil ‘Terminator ’ Sattaur (Fazil Abdool Samad). A true Gentleman on and off the field who came from humble beginnings, a man of few words who let his bat do the talking. He was one of the finest cricketer that came out of Albion( Chesney). It was always a privilege and honour for myself to have known him for a very long time. He surely will be missed by everyone who has been part of his journey especially his family and friends. It was great to see so much people showed up to pay tribute and respect to the Legend. Former teammates from Club level to National level were present for the game. On behalf of the President of Our Albion Cricket Club Mr. Vemen Walters, Executives, Members past and present and myself I would like to thank the Organizers of this wonderful event especially Mr.Raj Misir, Mr.Arjune Nandu, Abdool Birdy Samad, Mr.Derrick Kallicharran, Kaiteur Cricket Club and his Family. He is gone but he will forever be etched in our memory. RIP Brother ---- Fabian Naiken.
