This is one amazing lady, to watch her smile whilst describing her life's situation is quite uplifting, she doesn't complain and is determined to make a better life for herself and family, many blessings to them 🙏
This is a very sad and humbling story and makes one realize how fortunate some of us are in life. Maam god bless you and your family and I hope he smile and bless you and your family.
@@theshabnashow I never saw your show before there is another guy Ard I think he shows about Guyana and I was wondering who stands up or report about poverty and how our people are suffering over there. I will gladly like and subscribe to your channel and follow your show
How do we go about donating to these wonderful people? I just love her positive outlook on things. Clothes, and necessities how do we ship out to her family or all families that live there? She's a fellow Guyanese, the government had better take some of that billion-dollar oil money we got and help all those alongside the borders. And for her husband? He could be a shoemaker.
@@theshabnashow how much would she need to start her business, she already has her food cabinet, she needs to purchase the products, what is her start up cost?
Ahh. What a wonderful woman full of enthusiasts. She is determined and that's amazing, she doesn't show self pity she is just accepting life as it comes and is living with great hopes and aspirations. She should go into the immigration and apply for her husband's documents. I am positive that this family will eventually live a very contented life from her positive outlook on the future ♥️♥️♥️🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾👍🏽👍🏽💯💯🙏❤❤❤🇬🇾🇬🇾♥️
@@krishendatjitu1846 Why? Plenty of us, born Guyanese, live worse than that. The government needs to help us, Guyanese, out of poverty and into our own homes. Some of us born, Guyanese, living are in shacks. Charity begins at home. Some people are living like this woman in Guyana, Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and other countries.
I am literally crying...What a positive person she is... willing to do anything to help her family.... Lord I ask that you bless this family in every way abundantly and bountifully in Jesus name amen 🙏🙏🙏
She reminds me of my dad who used to say, I cried because I had no shoes until I met the man who had no feet. Very positive vibes from this family who sees the glass half full instead of half empty.
Good night thank u for sharing again that's not a lazy woman u can tell from what she saying i hope the government is also looking to ur video's so that they can help all these people and their family's god will answer their prayers one day .
Thank you for sharing these videos, it's another part of Guyana that is not shown much. I'm planning a trip to Guyana in March and would love to meet with you.
You corrected her but she was right! Her husband is disabled with the hinge of his heel being damage. His foot is not longer. This lady issa strong soul♥🍀
Thank you for your comment and for pointing out my mistake…. So sorry about that. I’m happy that he can use his talent to take care of his challenges. Oh yes, she is!
This Lady is a very positive person she has a great mindset. She has a little with everything she’s happy to have me. God bless her and her family and may the government help her.

OMG it’s unbelievable how these people leave Venezuela and come to Guyana and live like that but as she said she have to mind and courage to work and make improvements. Wish her all the best.
Wow, I can’t believe this woman humbleness while describing her situation. What a wonderful soul. May God bless her and allow her to achieve all her goals and dreams. I really appreciate this person and video.
She is right if you lazy you can get up in life but willingness. You get She will get up life .something happen with me and I was willingness and I get it .l was saying God helped who help themselves. Good lady
Thank God she have a roof and food ,at least she can turn her own keys ,because a lot of us still wondering when we will get our own keys to turn and where a meal is coming from ,and when get a work have to wonder if will get pay even when finished the work
I love her attitude. I pray that things work out for you and family. You are industrious..! Thanks for sharing this video. Let the public know how we can help.
Guyanese should not have to live under these conditions any longer. The ministry responsible for social conditions of the populace, needs to get its act together. Guyana is now in a position to enable this lady and her family and other families like hers, to live their lives with dignity.
Shabna, great videos, its touching to see Guyanese living in that condition. Sometimes in life, we just need a push start and that's what she need. I read almost all the comments on this video, many people are willing to help, including myself. I will definitely call her. Can you do a follow up on her situation?
Very determined to make it in life, she display a positive attitude and energy, both are factors for excellent outcome for herself and her family, also her husband on the other hand is considered the Renaissance man, I would like to help her,let me know please, thanks.
Thanks for sharing your video & please send me a link to donate & possible meet thus family.I work with Habitat for Humanity in US. May God have mercy for all the struggling families
This is a very positive lady...hope she achieves all her goals. There is no shortage of food items anymore in Venezuela. However, it's a dolarized society now. You have to pay most things in US dollars and most people earn bolivar.
Hope this family get some help. Lot's of guyanese still struggling to make ends meet. Hopefully with the oil money govt can give these people some help.
This woman is good spirited and positive. By comparison to other Guyanese, she has a big lot that she grow# things on, and her house is fairly good. She should get her husband and family to become Guyanese citizens. Good luck.
I feel for her but at the same time she ran away to what she thought was better she should have stayed and wait it out when it gets tough figh back down run away. Hope better for her family.
Those LONG lines are SO sad!😪 Most Venezuelans initially LOVED Chávez and Socialism and look at the NIGHTMARE it has brought them. 😪 That lady is SO sweet and a go- getter. She is SO resourceful. May God BLESS her and her family always!
I hope Guyana's oil revenue will help families like these and trust me when I say Guyana has numerous said families under such strenuous living conditions. The govt has to do more for the people of Guyana because while focusing on the infrastructure for Guyana's growth several families struggle and with a population as small as Guyana's, no one should have to live in impoverishment. It is sad!!!
well 3 years since the first withdrawl of the oil money, I am sure they should have Norway standard of living in 3 years, mind you Norway took 30 years.
No Guyanese should be living in such Deplorable conditions are the rich GUYANA 🇬🇾 this is how some Guyanese citizens are living struggling to make ends meet listen to the BIG Budget for the past four days where is all the Oil money GOING TO friends family and favorite !!! The rich Guyanese are getting RICHER “ SAD SAD 😔 THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!
well the gov cant do miricles in 2 years, pnc had 5 years and they hardly build any houses, in2 years Gov give thousands their homes and land, the couple will in the future get their house for sure. in the mean time she and her husband can apply for training to learn a skill free of charge. Venezulians must be helped.
