I would just like to say , that once I was in a very dark place, very depressed. Then I watched an episode of " A man like Mobeen ". I have never laughed so much or so hard in my life. This talented , wonderful, caring man saved me. Thankyou Guz from the bottom of my heart. ( Also a Brummie ).

By standards today, it's vile, illegal and wrong, but back then every culture did it because of short life expectancy. It's a historical thing, not a religious thing.

I don't watch this bloke much, but I know some comedians of an obvious group will talk about issues facing that group once in a while, and in some peoples' minds, they're talking about it all the time. People might not find it funny (I don't), but they're often misconceiving how often it's really talked about.
