Great commentary on the fight. I always enjoy seeing the thought process in pvp since for me I just tend to fight and cap without too much strategy; something I'm trying to get better at overall.
nice commentary, cool to see the US perspective on pvp too! Decent macro, pretty good teamwork too! Individual skill not amazing from all players and builds don't seem very viable but very cool to see! Looking forward to more
Thanks very much. I assume you play on the EU servers? EU games I've watched definitely seem to be more tryhard. More people on meta builds, good teamwork. The NA scene is a bit of a mixed bag for what you get. That's kinda ok with me though I don't really take the game all that serious
I love your videos man. You are the reason I'm started to spam Vindicator. I've always been an Herald diehard and I really never got invested into Vindicator. But I have fun by winning and outplaying the enemy, be in PvP or WvW, and for that Herald simply doesn't hold against Necromancers, Willbenders or anything that spams conditions or CC. Vindicator on the other hand is the Class.
Awesome, thanks very much for the nice comment. Herald will always have a spot in my heart. It was THE rev build for so long and has such cool animations and skills. But vindi is just a bit stronger though. The built in condi cleanse and a +35% damage modifier is too strong to pass up. I will still jump on herald for fun though!
@@homage3 yeah 🤣 I was like "if they lose that I'm gonna be maaaad AF!" Because I've been in the same tight situation where the whole game collapsed on my team although we had a huge advantage most of the game and still managed to throw the win to the trash 🤣
Why didn't you use the "Rally the crowd" buff at all during the game ? Is there something I don't know because I usually use it as soon as I get it without thinking about it.
@homage3 i had a bit of a breakthrough on core rev on wvw if u run diviner with leadership Runes, shiro and jalis stance, staff and s/s worked better for me, damage trinkets to get above 200% crit damage, holds up fairly well.
@@maxu4615 that's awesome. There was a guy named Za Shaloc that used to upload CRAZY core rev montages on youtube. You should check him out. I always liked core rev until they took the F2 and gave it to vindi :(
To be honest with you it depends on how good the thief is haha. But here's a couple tips. - use terrain and jump onto places where they cant teleport onto you - keep attacking when they enter stealth because you can still damage them while they're invisible - pray that they're bad lol
I like both! Dual swords was the ONLY option for Rev for many years before the greatsword came out so I've got a good amount of time with them and they feel comfortable to me. I should do a video on Rev weapons soon.
It's an interesting match up. Vindi can get overwhelmed by conditions pretty quickly because they have limited cleanse. Necros can get caught out of position and shut down by vindi because of the high mobility and damage. So it can come down to the skill and positioning of the individual players. In this vid the enemy necro is on core, which is a little more tanky and a tougher nut to crack than reaper - generally speaking.
@@homage3 ahh i see...i mostly try to keep my distance from them but they can tp to me and burst me...well by watching ur vdos atleast i can learn what vindis do and how to avoid them 😂... great content
Can I make a request? Would it be too much trouble to add a commentary on one of these videos about the skills you activate, in which order and why? At least to cover some basic scenarios? Even at .25 speed, it is hard to figure out what is going on since the feedback on the UI is clumsy and barely noticeable. I keep watching the videos and all of sudden your opponent drops to 25% life left and it is not clear what attacks did that (specially since many on the hammer have a delay).
This is an excellent request. I'm going to use this exact idea for a video and I'll give you a shout out for the suggestion. Any ideas on what to title it?
@@homage3 I was thinking this is pretty basic stuff. But after a bit of reflection, it think it is not. Basic would be explaining each individual skill or a few ready-made combinations. But applying them in combat on each specific circumstance is a lot more complex. I think something titled "bringing it all together" would be appropriate.
