0.4b comes with a variety of new features! Including:
- Improved foam and visuals
- Improved performance (Multithreaded renderer)
- Reaction forces
- Swimming
- Plenty of bugfixes
Map Name: gm_bigcity_improved_lite
(Trying out a new style of video, not sure if I like it yet.
Also, excuse my sub-par editing. I'm a programmer, not an editor :) )
(Before downloading, note that there is no direct Linux support and all Linux users are expected to use Wine/Proton)
(Also note: There is no Apple/Mac support of any kind. Sorry)

You can do this by dumping 6 cups of water into your pc while gmod is up and running, dont go over the limit though unless you have a graphics card that can handle it

You'd need like a 64 core overclocked CPU for it not to explode while simulating 100k particles. Most of the work is done on the GPU

@@Silver_Sandto make you feel better, the optimization in Java Vanilla Minecraft is genuinely so horrible that genuinely good machines are also struggling to run at optimal frame rates suitable for that machine. Also let this be said, i run red dead redemption 2 better than I do vanilla Minecraft on java.

@@ajay.jaywalks yeah, though the optimization has gotten way better with the newer versions, I can't run 1.0 without framerate stutters constantly but 1.20 runs pretty okay (at around 25-35 fps) consistently un-modded

Now it needs to evaporate slowly and that would make it 10x better so like if there's a thin peice of water on the ground make it slowly disappear and put an imprint into the ground and then that imprint also slowly disappears.

i know this might be a little tasking, but can you try to make pool water and sea water? sea water would be a little foamy and green and the pool water, when on contact would have a bit if foam particle and is a little more blue than seawater

this is some cool stuff! wet stuff! i haven't taken a good look yet, is there a toggle for water particle evaporation based on the density of a pool of particles? eg if there are less than a few particles in a spot they will fade? and then maybe a way for puddles to slowly fade away at edges?
