This type of books were super popular in the 80s and 90s.

Stay safe out there, Cozy! You touched on Zoo in your last episode of the Snap Chat as a potential home for Gwenpool. I've been having success with her in specifically Discard Zoo with Dracula and Strong Guy. Dracula has been a great addition because he can benefit from all the buffs Gwenpool provides even if you can't play her until turn 6. I think it might be worth checking out!

Don't know if it's what you're looking for, but in his Arishem review vid, he used as an example his conquest play against Alex. Not a full run, but a full game of it.
Another good combo one can use is, T2: Zabu or Psylocke T3: Iron Lad (hits Gwenpool) T4: Gwenpool T5: Absorbing Man T6: whatever helps win, but 3 Gwenpool triggers can aid GREATLY
Just had an idea for handbuff decks. Change Doctor Doom to "6/5 On Reveal: Summon a Doombot with the same Power to each other location." Synergizes with Gwenpool too. Shuri into Doctor Doom would be insane with this.

Cozy is the man. Respect the grind. Idk about you all, but when I’m on vacation I still do things that I enjoy doing when I’m home. Vacation setting makes it more enjoyable.
That original Gwenpool comic is genuinely one of the best uses of 4th wall breaks in all of comics. It does genuinely unique things with the mechanics and layouts of comics because of it. It's really interesting but also really easy to follow in a way some other comics that experiment with the medium are. Great book. Highly recommend to anyone.
Gwenpool seems fun I just hate Surfer decks and so far I've had about 4 or so games where she just made Shaw and Brood bigger as if they needed that in that kind of archetype. I've also seen her in Destroy which is cool to see. Have fun on your vacation!

Gwenpool is really close to being phastos. The only difference is that phastos might give a cheaper cost instead, and you have to draw into the phastos cards. I wonder if phastos would see more play if he also hit the cards in your hand? Or if he just always gave either the power increase or the reduced cost. Like start of the game this card text becomes “on reveal: all cards in your deck get +2 power” or “on reveal: all cards in your deck get -1 cost”
I started with Shaw, and then a Surfer deck was assembled around it. Very strong; Shaw has never been so chonky. Played a 19 power Shaw while watching this.

Nope, her name is Gwen Poole with an E at the end. When she entered the 616 and went to a superhero costume maker and told him her name he assumed Gwen was a Deadpool superfan and model her suit after him. Gwen admits to never having read Deadpool comics because she never found him funny which offended Deadpool when she told him.
