I remember reading this story of Thenadd from the book. This is the place where Geralt face one of his greatest enemy (forgot how to spell his name though), and almost get killed by him. The fall of Thenadd also mark the second Nilfgard invasion. To see this historical place so well fit with the novel’s description is a damn plus! The Witcher: Tower of Swallows, go read it!

Hmm, the art of Aretuza from this video is far from novel's description of Thanned... But it's the adaptation, so the artists can draw whatever they feel is nice :P And it was Vilgefortz :P
I think it would be cool if there was a nivellen and vereena card combo like one heals the other does damage or something just an idea Like the unicorn cards.
It'd be so awesome if one of their plans was to have a side studio create spinoffs like Thronebreaker so we don't have to wait so long to get new content in our favorite universe(s).
@@jakobfel2 I think Thronebreaker managed to do the greatest amount of worldbuilding the Witcher Universe has ever seen, even more so that Sapkowski himself at times! It would be so amazing to see the team divulge that amount of talent in a similar game, yet I also realize the difficulty in following up something as strong as Meve's, especially as I think what really worked well was to see the Second Nilfgaardian War (which is what the books are almost all about), from another point of view, and I can't think ofany conflicts as epic as that one to be centerpiece of a sequel. It's a tough cookie 🤔
Thanks for this expansion, it's great, the art, the mechanics, and everything, and the essence of Gwent is maintained the strategy and diversity of mechanics, Gwent will step by step slowly but firmly, thanks for your work, and cheer up for Gwent team.
Dont you have people to check the cards before the expansion is out? You have broken completelly the game (i dont even talk about meta) with Gernihora and Bloody mistress! It beat absolutely everything and people just resign from the game on the middle of round one if they see you are playin it! I hope you will fix it very soon, cause until then its pointless to play it.
