if you do an album listen, you'll notice they still have their signature sound when it comes to their b sides. Even though there's only 3 of them, I think they are some of their strongest tracks they've had. :)

When I heard it was a two chorus song, I thought of Infinite's The Eye and Back, but they are so extremely different styles. Bazooka manages to keep itself interesting and catchy with lots of smaller, discreet changes, while both the others rely on dramatically different parts to carry the listener through. I think both of the styles work really well, it's just interesting how different their approaches are.

Nice reaction! I'm surprised not many people actually noticed the trick they used in the song to make its parts different, but Umu did point it out for us! I think it's an easter egg that makes the song more interesting.

I think the thing keeping the consistency in sound is the fact that The Park In The Night trilogy was telling a story and The Keys is actually adding onto the story rather than getting rid of it. The GWSN lore actually goes deep and is pretty well thought out if you put the effort in reading into it and finding all the little hidden story details especially in the quotes at the beginning and end of the videos and even in B Sides. Let It Grow ~ A Little Tree and Growing ~ For Groo are examples of them progressing the GWSN story between albums

I regret not checking GWSN b-sides sooner. I've always been a fan of their title songs. Listening to their whole discography, After the bloom (alone) is definitely my favorite song from them.

I was so happy that yall reacted to bazooka, one of my personal faves! The syncopated piano chords in the first pre chorus is one of my favourite parts of the song, so it was great to hear professionals noticing and speaking about it!

This is really a departure from Park in the Night. Not only the music, but they also change the choreographer. That's why the choreography looks a little bit different.

The structure of this is really interesting. So many songs would, for example, go straight into the pre-chorus after the rap verse again. Instead we have these extended verses and really long pre-chorus (which makes the resolution of the chorus even more satisfying) and no bridge/final chorus, but instead an outro! It helps, of course, that the instrumentation is great too. The one thing I'm not a huge fan of is the effects on the vocals at some points - sometimes it works (like the 'watch me') but I'm not really feeling the effect on Miya's voice in her rap as much. I'd love to hear your thoughts on April's 'lalalalilala' - the melody being played in the verses is super weird to me; it's like no scale I'm familiar with, and I'm really curious to see it broken down. It's also a fun, catchy song in general.

Umu says this song "tickles the ears" and couldn't agree more. It's just so pleasing to listen to and I would actually extend that description to all four tracks on the EP. Something about it is just so nice and comfortable to my ears and brain. Thanks for the reaction and I would love to hear your opinions on the other tracks!

nowadays.. I'm really into the rookie group after EXID -for Bazooka,when they sing the highnote part at the last.."nae ana ju koyaa aa a a"..the note fall with beat right? I mean she push the note,and down 2,down 1,down 1..and it was so melodic.. - did they have 2 pre-chorus..the part was "my space,my pace" and "watch me,watch me" right? -for second verse..they didn't use the sample like the first chorus..so they have 3 pre-chorus? -that "play BAZOOKA"..stuck on my head tho..it is vocal line,right?

They do have 2 pre-choruses, one with just the piano and another after it when the percussion starts building. What's interesting is that during the first verse, the 'my space, my pace' part aligns with the 1st pre-chorus, then the 'watch me' part comes after that, so it falls into the 2nd pre-chorus. The second time is different: they move the 'my space, my pace' part so that it has almost the same elements as the rap part before, creating a two-part second verse. Then the 'watch me' part is now aligned with the 1st pre-chorus, and the 'Bazooka' hook enters as the 2nd pre-chorus with some changes in detail, before it is repeated as the chorus. It's such a clever trick by the song's producers to make each part sounds different from each other.
