I usually have the crankshaft oiled a bit anyway, and I put it in a cardboard box with newspaper around the crank, and I freeze the whole box so it keeps it cool while I take it outside into the garage.
Thank you for taking the time to create such an informative and well-explained video on building a scooter engine. I appreciate the work and effort you put into making this video. Keep up the great work!

Omg hahaha, I'm a huge fan of yours! Thank you so much, never in my life thought you were going to come across one of my videos ! You made my day! Thank you
I was lucky enought to come across a Vitacci Rocket for $600. The guy was a client of mine that I was doing security for. In the end it turned out he planned to give it to me for free. The issue I'm having now is finding new fairings and a new gas cap for it. Could you direct me to a replacement or the measurements of gas caps that fit. I've been watching you with yours for years so it inspired me to do a little work on mine. Do you happen to know where I can get a new Fairing kit for it. Your my last hope. If possible can you give a list of the parts you use and where to get them? So glad to see you're still working on your Rocket. Your videos helps me to want to not give up on it. You've got me so excited to work on my bike! Thank you so much brotha!!💯
To think that back in 2008 through 2011 I had a 180 cc GY6 with parts from Puerto Rico from a RU-vid video that had a truck in the background so I called the number on it. Now all these parts are readily available
If you’ve never tried the A11 cam on anything above 190cc, you’d be pleasantly surprised. Just food for thought if you get bored. I like the A11 cam more than the A12 on my 196cc gy6.
i was just wondering, i have a 250cc chinese atv, i don't really know what the engine is, i always suspected it to be a 232cc gy6 but i m not quite sure, i haven't really found anything about a gy6 being over 150 or 200cc with the help of taida. Is it a gy6 or something else? edit:(the engine looks very similar to the one in the video) Also, i m new to your channel, but it looks very high quality, just subbed!
Thank you so much for subscribing and watching my video😀 I think your ATV has a 232cc engine ,usually when a chinese vehicle is marked as a 250cc most of the time those vehicles have a 232cc engine , I found this article that is really going to help you decode your engine I don't know if you are interested in reading it but if you do and you still have questions ,you can always ask me and I'll be happy to help ncystore.com/blog/gy6-a-block-vs-b-block-232cc
I hope I can be hardworking and skilled person like him...it's like a brand new engine... Maximum upgrade is 300cc, with Honda 150r or Yamaha y15 head block...if you use Honday 150r have twin cam... -: reference Honda EX5 with Yamaha LC headblock
Is this a short or long case engine. Trying to upgrade my 2020 Vitacci Rocket. I want change the engine so bad. Can you list where you got your engine and parts. I would love to do an open case build. That is a straight headturner you have there❤💯💯
Beautiful Build ...! 🙏 👍 ( New to your channel ) Is that your Vitacci Engine being rebuilt...? Or is this build ALL-NEW SOURCED PARTS..? If so , Do you have a list for all your sourced parts..?
Thank you so much for watching, this engine has a bunch of parts that I used from my vitacci engine but with a different engine case , the other engine cracked because it felt from a table so I had to build another one lol
Hello sir, What could be causing some popping and bogging at 2/3 - 3/4 throttle on a 150cc GY6 scooter? Can you think of anything electrical that can be.causing this? I've already installed 3 new carburetors, 3 different csi boxes, different coil wires, and a couple other things and I can't seem to get rid of it. Would a bad stator or rectifier be the cause? How about a bad vacuum fuel pump? Can you help me please? I am really just so frustrated right now. Thanks so much for any advice you could offer.
I need help my pst150-17 ice bear trike kinda hesitates when takin off. But it only does it when riding it about 30 minute and on. When riding fir the first minutes it gets good throttle response but after a while when I come to a stop n go or green to red light n I give it throttle it hesitates , sounds like the wheels get stuck or something and then the bike takes out. Idk It has low mileage on it. Can it be cause I'm a big guy? It's a 150cc
Thanks for watching, I didn't used red Loctite , is orange , the orange loctite is a hybrid between the red and the blue one , supposedly is strong as the red one but is easy to remove the bolts like the blue one , 😉
i have a question. will the moisture damage the frozen crankshaft? specially the bearing?? most that i see people heat up the room for the crankcase and bearing but people say it bad for the case it self.. is it true?
