Go Sebastian! Kick your father's ass! *Teams up with Edgeworth to deliver sweet justice for Blaise's crimes of being a horrible father and human being .*
+2Tailed I would throw the logo away after I'm done with the game cause sadly thats what they did, they aren't gonna make another one.... MAKE ANOTHER ONE CAPCOM
Just finished the full fan translation. Pure epicness! Capcom missed out not releasing the game in english. Good thing there are fans willing to do the work for them to make everyone happy. Follow the "Prosecutors Path"!
We all why we are here. After so long its finally happening. Also Rip sebestian debeste and uncle raymond. Apparently raymond's new pun name is "A defender"
Investigations 1 was really good, but this one wins by FAR,seriously guys,if you played the first game this one is a must. I've found my favorite Ace Attorney.
+ACCIAIO Actually, the ones who translated it, made a localization of the game. It's no retail version, but if I hadn't known that this is a fan translation and localization, I would've thought that it was localized by Capcom. I've never seen a better fan translation of any game before, you can't find anything in japanese in the game anymore. Even the graphics were translated and they switched the japanese audios with english ones.
+Sl1m121 I'm in full agreement, it's an excellent game. It's just a very tiny bit behind Trials and Tribulations for me, but it easily slips into a close second place for me.
happy to see the sudden influx of comments, this announcement completely caught me by surprise and to say it made my day is an understatement. EDGEWORTH COMING TO THE WEST BABY
OBJECTION! This pursuit theme does have a triumphant feel to it. But AJ theme has a "Oh yeah, who's the badass NOW bitch!" feel to it. I don't know, there's just this absolute victory feel to AJ's cornered theme, especially the second version. Personally this feels too fast paced to me, it is REALLY good, I'll give it that.
Naruto200Man I beg to differ, Mr. Naruto200Man. I stated: 'No other Pursuit theme has made ME feel more triumphant'. Your opinion, which I do respect, because I also like the AJ theme, is not valid in this case, as my statement was only applicable to myself. **bows** Thank you for listening, Your Honour.
*Allow me to present the evidence that connects this handprint to my father!* And that's how Sebastian became my favorite character of the Investigations games.
*Presents Blaise's Gloves* "This is the smell of motor oil...the kind used for maintaining motorcycles..." "Both myself and Mr Edgeworth have smelled this exact same smell before!" "Blaise Debeste... It was in your garage!"
What I love is it is always played at the right fucking moment, when you finally corner the culprit, and when you are about to put the last nail in his coffin. JUST EPIC!
ill kill for another game with the same characters from this game, like i really liked simon, sebastian, courtney, ray and kay, sadly they arent even mentioned once in the other games and never came back even after being the most important characters this game absolutely break everything from cases and story, the music and characters, how sad it couldnt get popular because capcom didnt want to translate it
Unfortunately I don't think any of the newer characters of this game will even be mentioned in the future game seeing as this never got an official localisation.
@@Hitoshuratdn theyre finally making sebastian real in the next releases if they ever make one 😭 im so happy, so sad he and simon keyes wouldnt have the same names
@@dianaloayzat4975 ...and not released on a dying console only months apart from it's successor. (Gyakuten Kenji 2 was overall one of the worst selling games in the series [Investigations 1 was the worst-selling western release iirc], along with DGS 2 which also plagued a similar problem. But since they are giving the latter another chance and made really great effort on The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, maybe they give this one another shot too.)
I just finished playing the fan translation. A remarkable entry in the series and my 3rd favourite in the franchise (Just behind Spirit of Justice, and Trials & Tribulations) I loved how the cases arched together with practically no filler and the whole theme of choosing your own path in life. HUGE props to the fans who worked on the translation and everyone involved (Not to mention top notch voice samples) It's a damn shame that it wasn't given official localization
Rejoice everybody! After 13 years we finally get to play the gyakuten kenji 2!!! Although I already played and finished it back in 2015… 🤣 anyways I’m glad everyone else gets to play it in English.
iluvpopcorn23 Haha yeah, played the first two cases months ago, they have made an awesome job, but now I prefer to wait for the final product, hope they finish it before 2015 :(
I emailed them after I finished the third case. They said that they are well on their way to finishing the next case, and I assume they will release the fourth and fifth together, as the project is finished.
This is now officially my favorite pursuit theme. When the electric synth guitars start at 0:35 this song reaches a whole new level of emotion man ^_^.
I'd argue that's why the first game's soundtrack is better as a whole, a much more unified package thanks to that theme. This one goes all over the place but I think it's on purpose cos this game feels' more like "everyone's game" than just an Edgeworth deal.
This made the hairs on my arms stand up, it's so epic... I'm just imagining putting a witness on the spot while this plays.... Dammit Capcom, release this game already!
I would never say never. If they continue with porting the Ace Attorney games to newer platforms like they have already done with The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles & The Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy then I could see it getting translated and bundled with the first Miles Edgeworth game. I do hope this actually happens at some point and I remain optimistic that it will.
Given how well suited the professor Layton DS games are to mobile, I can totally see phones getting a localization of aai2. I know there was a mobile rerelease of the first investigations, but I don't know if that was Japan only or not.
Finished the fan dub, instantly my new favorite Ace Attorney game, maybe my favorite on the entire DS, and while Apollo is still my favorite character, Justine and Sebastian are both my new favorite rivals
Imagine if Keyes just framed Courtney instead of Marsh by *leaving the body* that night. Here's what happens: • Lang goes for Courtney's head • Debeste gets cocky anyway and tempts Miles • Courtney still rebels against the PIC • Debeste is put away • At this point Keyes should go rogue and just dip from BBC • Miles and co. resume their investigation on the last case • Miles clears the suspicion on Courtney • SS 5 comes to light via Lang as played out • They don't find the murder weapon long enough to encounter stray Dogen and Roland's trial • The kidnapping is still staged to force the guilty verdict • Regina at this point remarks that Keyes has left BBC • Miles, Kay and Edgeworth/the Yatagarasu, basically, save the day • Miles figures out the mastermind anyway because the last confrontation was easy if Regina testifies against Keyes which would also happen here • But this time Keyes is absolutely scot free from the police • Congratulations, Simon Keyes has successfully pulled a Zak Gramarye exactly two weeks before Zak's case even happened • Interpol and de Killer then chase after him for the sequel or something
(Only one person could have done this.) (I didn't want to believe it myself, but I trust that my logic is sound!) The person who used the key to enter the breaker room is...!
Crazy how this is the best game story wise and music (imo) but the fact it sold bad at the time and the first aai did too in the west, a lot of people couldn't experience this masterpiece of a game but im thankful there is the fan translated
This theme screams "Shiat comes doooooown"! Every time I'm surprised at the outcome, but am still able to figure it out in the last second :D This is definitely the best AA game for me.
[spoiler warning] Edgeworth: You are the murderer! Naitou: Oh yeah? Prove it! Edgworth: I first need to get Gyakuten Kenji 2 localized for me to understand what's happening!
GK2 has great soundtrack, but regarding Edgeworth/Mitsurugi themes (testimonies, investigations, etc) I say that most of his GK1 themes are more superior. But this one is probably the one that actually as good, if not better than its GK1 counterpart
I thought this was the worst pursuit theme the first time I heard it, but after playing the game it suddenly became the best. Really goes to show that video game music is largely incomplete without the circumstances it plays under.
A whole year since I played Prosecutor's Path, and this OST still stands as my favourite one across every game I've played. And I've played a fucktonne of games.
Every time I hear this song, I always think of the moment where they're about to have enough evidence to prove that Patricia Roland is guilty. I DON'T KNOW WHY!?!??!!!??!?
