To me, Riekerd seems to have the potential to excel in any athletic discipline that demands physical prowess. Man got crazy athletic physical attributes.
AND the humbleness, very appreciative of anything, anyone will take the time to teach him. This is not only going to give him more opportunities, but it will also have more people willing to teach and train him. Simply because he's so thankful, apppreciative, and a desire to listen and learn. Noy to forget how respectfully, umble! He's very likeable, which goes a long way In sports and life! Can't wait to see this man's progress, his journey. This is a man that everyone is going to want to cheer for route 4!
This kid is an absolute specimen. Never seen anything like it at 20 years old. The sport of Arm wrestling would be lucky to have such a high caliber athlete entering the sport at such a young age.
This boy has a very broad shoulders, he going to be very strong and muscular later on, if he willing put in the work and you will see the beast in five years time. Hope you guide him to the top of the world.
RU-vid algorithm boosting comment 💪 ... what a natural talent!! even if he loses vs Mario, doesn't change his potential, and hope he never quits training AW!
Awesome sesh! One thing to note about your squat form, looks like your body naturally wants the bar lower down on your back so that the centre of gravity is closer to the centre of your body. I can see you hingng forwards and the weight's moving you from your centre line cos the bars too high if that makes sense. Ask lachy or your trainer about high bar and low bar placement and they will explain it better. Squat is also a skill and squatting right for your posture will give you more power and confidence in the squat. THAT said tho some people have the mobility and leverages to switch between the two forms fine but for you right now I would recommend lower bar down between your traps and back rather than on your neck and traps. Anyway keep it up! Bornman looks like an absolute beast.
In my opinion trap bar deadlift could be the extent of leg training an arm wrestler does and at least should be the priority leg exercise. Beside it having more hand and back incorporation Nike didz a a scientific study that the #1 indicator and really only direct exercise indicator of sprint speed is power shown through the trap bar deadlift amount in relationship to bodyweight. It’s also about the #1 poundage exercise you can do(translates to most CNS work) Also to note changing depth changes back to leg focus and owe yea also requires less skill & learning curve than squat as well as safer. Seems like the clear alternative and should take priority to me
