Parkor; can you do me a favor? Never be disapointed about how you competed cause you have no control over the equipment or the judges. Take my advice with you through out your life as long you do your best and your happy with you you'll have a great life. Only tumbling I ever did was I once tumbled down the stairs once and broke my shoulder. I think over all you had a great time and did amazing. Keep Smiling 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

at this point parker you are so talented imagine what you'll achieve I see Olympic potential here so keep practicing and learn the rules of the floor at each competition you enter, it will give you an edge on the competition, also make eye contact with judges smile chin up I'm excited for you

I very much relate to Parker's internal scream on his straddle jump, been there many times on different skills when I used to compete 😂 often it ended up with me on the floor though so well done him for staying on! Also a 3/4 back piked is horrible! So much easier straight (I've never seen anyone compete a piked one in the uk, we either learn them tucked or straight and compete them straight)

Way to go, Parker! And way to go Christopher and Jessica for being so supportive. I was competitive in music when I was younger and my parents got me to every competition and audition they needed to, and I’ll never forget it. Having a parent’s support, whether the outcome is good or bad, is so beneficial and always made me feel so much stronger going into a nerve-wracking situation. I can tell it’s the same with Parker feeling nervous. He knows you guys are always supportive no matter what and that’s an incredibly heartwarming thing to see

Question! Does Parker/the family get recognized at these events? So often, when I watch videos of people on RU-vid at these public events/public spaces, I can’t imagine how many people are recognizing them. I hope and imagine most are respectful and get that Parker is there for the gymnastics event and get that it’s not a meet-and-greet, but I’ve always wondered! ❤️

No matter the equipment difference, Parker made his best compensation for what his understanding of the bounce was. He looked great and learned a ton by this experience. And a podium medal at grad level is nothing to shake your head at. Fourth even in such a high level comp is super excellent!! And there were some major lessons learned about equipment differences. And Chris being a quality coffee drinker normally deserves a medal for the bathroom coffee. He needs a portable French press. They did the job and with good spirits and sportsmanship. Onwards and upwards and hopefully not thrown across the room by subpar equipment. Lol.

crazy thing is, I remember commenting that you should put Parker in gymnastics! I was still doing gymnastics and had just quit from doing gymnastics for 10 years. he's grown so much at such a quick pace and I can't wait to see what he does in the future if he chooses to continue!

Don't be too hard on yourself Parker. Just watch the Olympics and you will realize they are the best of the best of the best and even they can't win them all. In a perfect world everybody would be tied for first place although, I'm not really sure I would consider that perfect. I have to say it is quite ridiculous that they did not give you the opportunity to practice. (I will tell you that I am 43 years old and even as a child I could not be as good as you in my wildest dreams.) Please do not give up please keep going and hopefully we will see you in the Olympics someday🤞🤞😎 ( Christopher, please don't ever say bathroom coffee again 🤢😎😁)

Good on you Parker for giving it 100% ago. You have improved so much more than when you were little! They should had just moved the end jump mat (Not too much to the left), but just a little bit left, for the competitors to be able to land on the mark, because due to how bouncy that tramp was. Both the other competitors and Parker had to do one extra jump to be able to land on the jump mark.

Was this a bigger regional than his last one? If it was like a western regional maybe they did not do an open touch to be more challenging but it honestly feels kind of dangerous to have kids compete on new equipment without proper warm ups.
