He basically beat the demon and restrained him, wich is still basically fightining it for that time if he was able to overpower it and pin it to the ground for that time in the first place.

thats different, Sanemi and Gyomei used mostly pure physical strength to overpower the demons, Muichiro got the demon down using weapons and then bashed its skull in with a rock over and over until it became daytime edit 1: To all the people responding like im wrong, politely rewatch/reread demon slayer. While Muichiro was an 11 yr old malnourished orphan at the time, the demon was a much stronger demon than what Sanemi fought his newly turned mother and yet Muichiro was stronger than it. When Sanemi fought his mother till sunrise, he was 14. Genya was 8. At 13 years Muichiro could already beat upper rank demons, the raw gap of talent between them is huge

Well Gyomei tortured his own too. It wasn't a fight for Gyomei, he just kept smashing it to keep it from regenerating

This two never meet any Uppermoon (Sanemi is confirmed to killed Lowe Moons though) but they directly fought the strongest Uppermoon 😂

So is Sanemi to Gyomie, Gyomie is 6 years older than Sanemi, Give that 6 years of training and experience to Sanemi and he'll effing get stronger, But yes, Muichiro give him just few more years and he'll surpass both Gyomie and Sanemi
