Bill, a Romany gypsy, organises a charity horse and trap drive through London. Having got great grades at school, Georgia seeks to settle down and open her own business. New 2019
I don't understand why there aren't caravan parks for them that they can pay a fee, have washrooms + garbage pick up. We call them campgrounds in Canada...
We have campgrounds in United States to but over there they probably won't pay and we'll probably leave it a mess I've watched so many of these videos and so many of these people are pigs not all but most
Yeah, it's weird and if they do purchase the land...they can still be booted...I understand some are awesome and others aren't ...but sadly the aren't outweighs the awesome. Sighs
@@-Unfiltered-CoconuT- that's pretty common everywhere no matter the country, you don't ever OWN the land, imo you pay rent each year in way of land rates but the council retains control over it and dictates that land can and can't be used for
We have travellers in our town,i have settled travellers as neighbours and they are the nicest people I have ever met but the other travellers across town are a different story!! There is good and bad in every culture! When they are good they are the most genuine honest people but when they are bad its very bad!
I agree with you.. do you live in the UK? Just curious where they are. Im from the States, not sure I've ever met any & I would never discriminate. They seem like good people to me.
What these men did for the children and their families by raising money for treatment, is amazing beyond word's. As a Mother to a terminally ill child with SMA type1 that fights for everything, especially access to any treatment we can try. There is no word's that can ever express how much it means to have other's do what you all did by sending them for treatment. Blessings to you all and my the children continue to live their best lives surrounded by love and blessings.
Georgia has a wonderful attitude and a LOGICAL way of looking at/doing things. She sees the bigger picture and doesn't try to force her 'Gypsiness' onto others, while still remaining true to herself and to her Gypsy heritage. She seems to understand the concept that one must earn respect, it's not automatically given.
I don't know Georgia but I feel so proud of her. I only wish she knew about a line Dr. Phil says quite often. "You wouldn't worry so much about what other people think of you if actually knew how seldom they do"! Don't worry about being a Gypsy Georgia. Just carry on being "GEORGIA! MAKE-UP ARTIST". That's the only label you should worry & work towards.
Where I used to live there was a community of travellers and I'm afarid they were not the nice ones we see in this series. They took over a particular bar near where they'd put their caravans and there was a lot of trouble if you went in there! I went in with some friends once not knowing in advance and three of them attacked my friend because the girls said she was looking at their men. She wasn't. I did my best to protect her, but we both got a good beating for nothing than going to a bar we'd been to plenty of times before. They also caused severe damage to the area. I'm sure there are some lovely ones out there, unfortunately they're not the ones we see or hear about mainly, so it's nice the other side of their culture is being shown.
I wish Georgia could do my makeup for special events, she does such gorgeous designs, I love the colors! 🥰 I don't know anyone around here who can do makeup this beautiful. She's a real artist. 💆🏽♀️
@@dr.trixiecp5651 Oh ffs jealousy will get you nowhere 👎One thing for sure is that she has class & is making money on her own rather than living on welfare..Damned if they do or damned if they don't..BTW she is beautiful & probably a lot Better then looking/acting like an ignorant, egotistical beyatch like you 😘
Thank you so much..I like the guy who has all his grandchildren and family living with him ,,I would live next door to him..and Georgia is soo sweet and beautiful..I would have her do my make up..Watson is amazing and he is a real man ,,God Bless him and his family and his sweet new baby .he is an angel on earth..Watson is a great man he reached beyond gorges ( me ) and gypsy people and helped 2 little kids who aren’t gypsy and made their lives better made me cry 😢 he is amazing thank you Watson
I love the three people who are being introduced in this episode because the are Travelers and Roma role models. They are contributing to their societies and still retaining their cultural identities. Loving this episode to bits!
Maybe if the travelers policed their own and cleaned up after themselves they would be accepted more. The town people are left to clean up after the travelers and deal with the aftermath.
Heart breaking to hear those little kids said people think “Gypsies are bad people”. Stereotyping just ain’t right. There are good and not so good people in all nationalities.
Thank you for posting. I'm absolutely ashamed of my ignorance. This is my very first exposure to this culture and I'm learning alot. I want to learn more as it's a kind of life totally different from my own and very interesting. Thank you again for posting... peace
It's not racial, it's cultural. It might be a small percentage but the Travelers that DO cause trouble cause a LOT of trouble and they cause more trouble for gypsies than anyone else. The people in this have regular lives and businesses and they do get a lot of shit but again that's cultural not racial.
@@breewheel2614 sadly it's part of human nature to make assumptions but I think when people sit and actually think about it many of them are baseless. Thanks for your perspective, have a great weekend and a wonderful week.
As an American who is not a gypsy, I have no problem with someone who has a different background than I do. As long as they are a good, law-abiding person, I'm good.
The law is couroupt now most police in every country are evil couroupt....most judges ...most Dr's most teachers......you can't trust them anymore now .......they are working for the devil be careful.........
50 horses and carts in the middle of London! Haha wow That’s so cool! Can see how it causes a bit of a rigmarole but so cool and doesn’t happen every day so consider it a bit of magic and stop being angry city folk haha!
I hope Georgia is successful ! But, I really admire this gentleman, for his charity work. (The man who has climbed the mountain, I coulnd't catch his name). We are all human beings, but I think he is beyond ''normal'', he is exceptional. Despite the fact he probably have suffered himself from prejudice and difficult time (he mentioned his daughter being premature) he did not let those things make him bitter but became a better person. Caring and compassionate, an example for us all. Having myself a rare disease and feeling sometime a bit ignored, I was really moved and wanted to thank him for the hope he brought showing that there are some genuinly good people. (Sorry for any mistakes in my English as it is not my mother tongue)
I really miss the travellers I used to know, they were lovely people. We should be respecting each other and looking after each other. There’s a lot of real evil, hateful bastards in the world, and it is NOT the Roma or other Travellers.
What do you want to bet she only does this solely to travelers and not her own neighbors, friends or family? I'd be willing to bet one or two of her neighbors are guilty of this or worse and she turns a blind eye. Prejudiced and pathetic AF.

KennedyFan I don’t know if it was her or the program that said she only goes after the Travelers. I do know she said she is always on the lookout for Traveler caravans. She’s a racist bitch is what she is, and really stupid for going on this program. She has just advertised to all of the Travelers what she looks like and drives. Bloody daft twit. I don’t like to see anyone of her age getting hurt, so I would hope she’s stopped before she does.
Growing up I was best friends with a traveller girl, I never noticed there was any difference between myself and her, I grew up with her family and culture. I made the best memories, my migrant parents worked long and hard hours and they often looked after me and my sister and never asked for anything in return. We both faced discrimination growing up, me for being a migrant and her for being a traveller, I always wished people would see her and her family in the same way I did. Later on in life I became a carer, and there was a traveller woman that would need to be cared for, I went almost everyday for over a year and many of my colleagues refused to go, as it was a traveller site and they felt unsafe. The discrimination was so clear, the woman was one of the loveliest people I ever met and her husband would thank me every single time without fail for coming to care for his wife, I would get so excited to come again. If we ever needed anything they wouldn’t hesitate for a second. I think it’s easy to be discouraged by what you hear but if you give people the chance they deserve you’ll find they are some of the most selfless and loyal people you may ever meet.
I don’t understand why we are still treating people of different faiths, or ethnicity poorly… my grandfather when he was going to a hospital near the front line in France was shocked by the way POW’s were treated as well as the African American soldiers.. a ship of the Black Americans sunk and nothing was mentioned… yet a white ship was slightly damaged and it was all over the radio and papers. I inherited his frustration with racism, and unfairly judging whole groups of people for what only a few did… I love that my Grandfather who was from England and immigrated to Canada before the first war, was so kind to everyone. I’m so glad he gave me his compassion and empathy for all…. I can only imagine the look on his face as the train passed POW camps… he couldn’t understand how a human could do those things to another human because of where they were born… he believed that not all Germans were bad… some were forced to fight in the war… they had no choice… in our day and age we should be well past these judgements of other peoples faith, and ethnicity… here in Canada people treat the Natives extremely poorly as do the Americans with the Black’s and Asian communities… we have towns of natives and they don’t even have clean drinking water… it’s been that way for yrs… yet where I live if there’s a problem with the water it’s fixed right away… I don’t understand how this can happen.., even when houses were built for them they were poorly constructed and eventually became toxic from mold from improper venting, and lack of adequate insulation… racism must stop… we are so much better than this…. America, snd Canada were founded by immigrants… I wouldn’t be here if my grandfather stayed in England. . My life would have been there… as would my Dad… I’m proud of my English. Scottish, and Polish heritage… we can learn so much from other cultures… just as they could with us. Will we ever get to a place where everyone is equal? That it doesn’t matter what colour your skin is or your ethnicity… my grandfather also went back to war in WW2… he fought for his new country… I would love to see a round table with children and asking them how we can be like them… children don’t judge.. unless your in middle school or high school., it would be interesting to see how children resolve the racism in our society. Our children are smart… it’s us as parents etc that teach them that people who don’t look like us can’t be trusted… that they’re criminals…. Etc… it would be wonderful if I could see racism stomp out before I close my eyes here on earth. , will our children and grandchildren be the ones that erase racism? I do hope so,,, I have faith in them. But for now we need to readjust our perspective… I also believe that kids who bully other kids learn that at home. Children see a lot more than we think they do. Loved this documentary,., keep them coming 🦋🦋🦋
Dog watcher lady is the definition of a stalker. She will come up on the missing persons page eventually. People think they are the law until they need the law to save them from there own self.
That's a shitty thing to say, Big Stag Garage dude! She's a citizen looking after creatures that are unable to look after themselves. That's a brave and noble endeavor. Are you brave and noble, or are you a typical anonymous coward lurking behind a dopey handle with a missing apostrophe?

Yeah she thinks she’s being a local hero. Hahaha taking pics of the dogs and saying “there’s no water I can see” she’s like half a football field away in the dark. What a joke
She seems pretty awful. If she wants to help animals there are many ways to do that without stalking people. It makes it seem more like she is trying to harm the people than help the animals.
Okay but being honest.. Why do any of these people even have pets? If they can’t afford their own children, why would they have a dog? That’s pretty gross and selfish in itself. Take care of yourself and your children first. If you have enough extra money, THEN get a dog.
Rotisserie Gorl have kids?,well kids must have pets and small motor bikes.Thats what they think.Kids look after younger kids and animals. When kids are teens they marry and have kids.
Really??? I had a dog a couple of years ago that was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (Bone cancer). Between the testing, the amputation and the chemotherapy treatments, I spent $7000. I consider that pretty expensive. It costs about $500 a year to feed a dog, shots cost another $200 a year. Even just a regular health check up is about $50 a year, plus heartworm tests are another $50 and if the dog tests positive for heartworm, treatment is another $500. Getting a dog spayed or neutered is about $200. I haven't even listed the cost for a license, grooming or all of the other expenses associated with taking good care of a dog.
I'm a auld school country girl from the West of Ireland! My auld man was a hard man!!!:A good man. His father used to have Travellers camp on his land in Balla. He showed good will. When my father's father died at 46 his children married or imirgrated leaving my father at 14 trying to run a farm and look after his crippled mother. Hear this... Every summer at the height of the farming.. the travellers my grandfather used to let camp, that got a drop of milk came back and help my father keep his farm going. They asked nothing.. My father learnt brogan... Tin making and wouldn't hear a word against the community My teenage daughters best friend is a traveller girl. Now I have two degrees, my sister is a nurse.. my eldest brother is an Oxford graduate My other brother is a lecturer in Irish Law. We wouldn't have nothing but for the respect and loyalty my father got from the traveller community In his time of need... My young ones best friend is a traveller. Hi Bill, I now live in Australia, However when I lived in Great Britain, I of course lived near a village called Hatfield, I had Gypsy friends at that time I was only fourteen years old, I have to say They were great people who made me very welcome, There's good and bad in all groups of people and many people who will discriminate against others.
A'Ho from America! Stand Strong stand Proud! I'm a member of the Muskogee Creek Nation of Indigenous people of this continent Turtle Island, Better known by the ?Gorgers as America or the United States. I''m not proud of my country now. They've broken a Peace Treaty with the Lakota Tribe who stood them down on the battle field until they admitted defeat and signed the Peace Treaty, They saw fit to recently break this treaty and invade our lands, placing our water in peril. . They've impoverished all my people by signing these fake Peace Treaties, getting our rulers to agree to stay in the most barren of landscapes that the continent has to offer then when they want the barren land, after taking generations of our children, our traditions, our very lives in order to insure their own now they've taken the little they conceded in defeat all those years ago. In doing so they've dug up our ancestors! This is the most vile of offenses in my culture. To defile someones very roots....perhaps to finish what they started so very long ago giving us blankets..to keep us warm in winter (every blanket infected with small pox) They've acted in the most inhumane ways towards us and I see the parallels between how you are treated across Europe and Ireland and the way we are treated here. I don't think our two tribes of people are very far apart in culture at all. There are huge differences and huge parallels in our reverence for our Dead, our Families and our culture. We stand firm, they'll never eradicate us, our blood has been so diluted throughout their own culture that almost to a man they claim our heritage. So be it, let them live it!
The nosey neighbor who spies on the neighborhood , really doesn’t care she is just out to cause trouble. It’s also a sad statement on the British classes when it takes the gypsy/ traveler community to fill a food bank and put air conditioning in a children’s Hospice that they would be shunned for needing to use. AND YOU THINK THE NHS IS PERFECT ... NOT !!! 🥵🥵🥵
Okay in the US we have a little something called campgrounds and they usually have showers and bathrooms you can use for free. I don't understand why the government in the UK would rather COMPLAIN and say really screwed up things instead of do something productive to help this aspect of their own people. Travellers and Gypsies have been apart of the UK for so long, it's high time they accept this aspect of culture and accommodate better. Like I said, if they made campgrounds that were welcoming to travellers then this wouldn't be as big of a problem
As a kid we had gypsies move near by, my bicycle was stolen along with my dads work van, they came round knocking on doors eyeing up properties, we never found the van but my bike was on the travelers site and I got it back after being bitten by a dog, when they left the field which was grass was just mud with loads of junk and human feces everywhere, I'd really like to meet the 'good' ones.
You can easily fall in love with that man that talks about doesn't matter who you are what you are gypsy and gorger doesn't matter race doesn't matter any of that we have Two Children that are Sick. What a wonderful human being he is. Glad you made it up that mountain and back that look like a great adventure. Many hellos from our Great adventure Alaska USA. God bless you all in Jesus name we pray.
We used to have travellers at the fields at the back of our house every couple of yrs. They would come in spring and turn our Banger racing/football field into a huge shit hole. Broken pottery everywhere, stripped broken domestic appliances, cable stolen from all around and then burned off for the copper contents ect... We couldn't even walk our dogs on the fields after they came and trashed the place. Eventually we ordered a digger and built up huge mounds of earth to block the access road that belonged to the railways service and sidings. They were Irish tinkers always fighting and making threats to us kids. They were not like the Gypsies in this programme who take pride in themselves and keep clean with beautiful horses and dogs.
This!! I feel for the kids and the families who struggle with not having these things, but they chose that lifestyle. The animals didn't. I love my dogs more than anything, but if I were no longer financially able to look after them, I'd rehome them with somebody who could. I'd sell every single possession I had first, but their health and well being is paramount to me.
@@hoganmyra1 you say judgemental, I say responsible. We have a duty of care to those we are responsible for and getting an animal which requires food, vet care, and vaccinations when you cannot afford your own basic needs is irresponsible.
I haven't had great experiences with traveler females. I nearly had my trainers 👟 stolen on my feet. I strongly disagree with society refusing traveler people & family's to live in peace. I do hope a good solution comes in the near future soo all is satisfied 💯🙌🏻 I love how strong & close traveler family's are. Loyalty & love ❤️ 🙌🏻
Wow thanks so much for uploading! I LOVED watching my big fat gypsy wedding... I don’t understand the hate they get... I mean I’d absolutely love to live next door to kids and horses lol. As long as someone doesn’t abuse their kids, drugs, are murderers or any of the like I’m good with them. It’s 2019 come one people!
I DO NOT agree with discrimination of travelers/gypsies however I DO NOT believe in animal abuse or cruelty either! They MUST take care of their animals if they choose to have them!!!
Doxing is so wrong, how does she know the water isn’t under the van or in another area. It is more cruel to keep the animal inside in a small space anyway.
This is the second show I’ve now watched thanks to Malta, and I’ve quite enjoyed them and have learned a few things too. Unfortunately, when I get to the comment section, it’s one nasty comment after another. People can be down right cruel and nasty here that’s for sure. So, I don’t get it, why the hell do they watch this program if they can’t stand Gypsy’s? Is it because they’re just as fascinated and intrigued by these people as I am but won’t admit it? Do they even watch the program, or do they just go directly down here to spew to the comments to post their hate? I do know the majority of them wouldn’t have the balls to say what they’ve said here to their faces one-on-one that’s for sure. Anywhoo, thank you Malta for sharing these episodes with us. I live in the states, and I’ve lived and have family on a reservation, so blind hate is nothing new to me. I also see similarities, one being that family is huge to us. All through this episode it was obvious how important family is to the Travelers. The one gent introducing his wee ones with so much love and pride in his voice at the very beginning. The other explaining how they had raised four boys where they still live now. The sisters and the one helping because she really wants to see her sister succeed even though it is all so boring and tedious to her. The older gent in the end pointing to his nephew and how proud he was to see them doing what they’ve been doing for centuries. The young man and his gentle touch to the boy who will be a recipient to his charity fundraiser. A lot of love for their families and children is what I saw. The Anishinabee are the same, family means everything to us, and it’s an awesome feeling to have a huge family with lots of aunties and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and so forth. I can’t help but smile when I think of them.
I live in Australia and I cannot for the life of me understand why there is so much resentment and hatred towards the gypsies. None of the discrimination against the gypsies make sense and this infuriates me! AllI can say is Gypsies COME TO AUSTRALIA we will welcome you and your families with open arms 🍀😘🐴👍👍
kelly sanderson I’m Australian the discrimination of the native Australians can not be compared to discrimination against Gypsies it’s not on the same level. You could compare it to the native Americans situation.
It's simple. They've always been 'other.' They moved around from place to place, so it was easy to blame things - whether they were responsible for them or not - on an out group. It just gets compounded the more 'built up' a country gets and there are fewer and fewer places for them to live their own lives. 'Out group homogeneity,' leads people to think that the group of travellers who left garbage/might have been stealing/caused a nuissance, must be representative the whole group.
Some people in the UK have such heavy accents that I can't understand them. It seems that as individuals they can be awesome. Several together gets the pack mentality going. When travelers all anchor in somewhere, it's like a loud frat house. Yikes. Why do they expect city council to give them a site to stay? It's not up to anyone else to accommodate their lifestyle. Non gypsies have to pay for the land they live on, or pay the rent, or mortgage. But, gypsies expect to be given a lot of land... this is why people have issues. Your lifestyle comes at a cost to others.
