I have just bought a Krivo django bucker which is really good. I will look at this AudioSprockets ToneDexter as an option alternative as it is good to have a back up.What amp would you recommend for gypsy jazz, I use a Fender Princeton for jazz (Wes Montgomery /cooljazz) but it is heavy to carry on public transport,especialy with a guitar as well. Django had an amazing slightly overdriven guitar sound - most acoustic amps are too flat sounding .I tried an AER amp but did not like it ; it was really nasal and far too trebley.
nicholas peter gagg I use the AER alpha. The Djangobucker can be a bit trebly. Tbh i haven’t used it for a while. I’d be tempted to use some sort of preamp to get a more valve amp sound.
