I finally made the plunge and bought a Gypsy. (Before they were even more impossible to find! LOL) Just watched this video and it was AWESOME. I used mine right along with you, following each step. (Except the cutting since we own different cartridges.) It was so easy and your video made the Gypsy seem a lot less intimidating. Thanks for taking the time to make this!

I have the Cricut Cake also and have been getting frustrated and ready to give up on my Cricut because it doesn't work with Design Space. But just gave me soooooo much hope! The possibilities are endless with this little device. Thank you so much for this detailed tutorial.

Hi, just would like to thank you for your gypsy tutorial, I have had my gypsy since the first debut on hsn and I've tried and tried to work with it but then get too frustrated and put it down. I will definitely try and get a chance this coming week to at least get to where you showed us on the video. And of course, definitely looking at the help button! Great video! I absolutely LOVE my Gypsy. You should use the Aleene's tack it over and over glue mixed with equal parts of water to re stick your mat. It works fantastic. Hugs, Stacy

Very good video! I use Baby Wipes to clean my Cricut Mats when they get to bad and won't stick. :) I just ordered my Gypsy from ebay...lol Can't wait to get it.

@callahanianscrapper Hi Sheryl, You're welcome. Glad I could help. I know, I had mine for almost a year before I started actually using it. Now I use it all the time. Seriously, I bring it on vacation or anywhere where I'll be waiting a while. I plan my pages, it's great!

Hi Tanya, Thank you for responding so quickly. I ended up watching both of your videos on the gypsy and they were both very informative and I really appreciate that. I would love to see more videos from you on the gypsy, beginning where you left off and actually doing a project, and like you said in your response making your pages. I think I understand the welding, but I don't understand how you can do the shadows and different things like that. (con't on next post).

I really enjoyed this video! you are funny :) definatly makes me want to pull out my gypsy. Love the way the finished gate looks in the album, I guess layering a few cuts would make images sturdy for mini albums, i always thought things looked flimsy and the cardstock would rip, so good idea! Thankyou for the video, can't wait to see more. Oh.. and love your guinea pigs!! :) so cute!

the gypsy and cricut are great to use for scrapping or cardmaking. it can be a little daunting at first but once you get the hang of it its fab.

Excellent tutorial. Thank you, thank you...If you can believe it I bought My gypsy at least three years ago and finally am using it...With no instructions I had no idea what cables went where... Managed to plug it in...but nothing shows up. Your video has helped immensely thank you for that.

@callahanianscrapper Hi, Sure I'll do a project of some sort. That's a good video idea. I know, my sister was scared to link hers too. It's ok to do and once you get going it only takes a few seconds to do each one. Yes, you have to link them in order to cut from them. Hi, I just came across your channel great tutorial. I cant connect the gypsy to imagine it can only be connected to the lap top. My imagine has a square plug, is there a cable i need to buy?

Hello, haven't used my Gypsy for a long time. I have moved to a new house and setting up my craft room. Got my Gypsy out to work with it. The power button comes on.The screen is blank. The reset button was pushed and that didn't help. Can you help me with this problem ?

Another question I have is do you have to have all your cartridges linked to the gypsy in order to use it and cut from it? I'm not sure why but I am reluctant to link them to the gypsy, not that I have intentions of ever getting rid of any of my cartridges, and to I have just under 100 cartridges, that would be an awful lot of work to put all of them in there! Anyways, thank you for the ones you have done and would appreciate any more videos/tutorials you would do pertaining to the gypsy! Thanks

Can you do vinyl stickers and iron on decals as well with this and are the sheets still readily available? I found one for sale and am very interested in buying it.

I havent used my gypsy in probably 5-7 years. I didnt really know how to use it until I watched your videos! I got it out and plugged into the wall to charge. It wont turn on--any ideas?!!

Hi, funny you should say that. Mine was doing the same thing. I charged it and it wouldn’t stay on. The red button on the side would come on but then it would just shut down again. I ended up charging it for a few days. Just now I went to check on it (because that was months ago and I completely forgot about it) I just turn it on the light instantly turn blue and it was running like it used to years ago. So just make sure you charge for a few days. They’re probably just angry at us because we’ve ignored them for a few years. LOL

now I have a good one for u I just bought a gypsy went to plug it in to my cricut expression and lo and behold the connection in the back of my cricut is to small the year of my expression no idea help

Jeanne Luddeni oh no. Is there an adapter that you can buy for it to fit? Maybe check you tube for a video about that. Perhaps someone else has done a video about that same problem. Oh I hope it works out for you.
