Wonderful reaction! We have to wait to talk backstory, but oh man is there one to see later. Gyutaro has other reasons why he is the way he is, but he’s such a perfect representation of envy. Or at least or a person who lets envy and bitterness consume them. He thin and unnerving appearance shows he is never satisfied. He always wants what others have. The way he tears his own body in frustration at what he can’t have shows how toxic this is. His voice grates on the ear because listening to someone constantly talk about what they envy is not pleasant to hear. The opposite would be someone who is grateful, satisfied/content, and helps others (because being full instead of starving on envy, leads to an overflow of goodness or sharing).
When Uzui tells Tanjiro that the battle is not yet over, he’s probably referring to Nezuko, because right after, he tells him to get his sister under control. If Tanjiro can’t get his sister under control. Uzui will have to behead her. He also probably doesn’t seem too concerned about her, because he likely has the confidence to lop off her head, just as quickly as he did Daki’s. However, he’s trying to give Tanjiro the benefit of the doubt, as four lives are on the line: after he kills Nezuko, Tanjiro, Urokodaki, and Giyu would have to slit their bellies in apology. As Uzui has shown how much he cares for the lives of others (such as his wives and his lost siblings), I’m sure he’s giving Tanjiro as much leeway to save themselves. Also, the mom was not carrying baby Tanjiro in the flashback… Tanjiro is the oldest, so he’d be bigger than Nezuko.
he said the fights not over because of how easily he beheaded daki, to him she was so weak that there must be another demon nearby. obviously he doesnt know where or how and it caught him by surprise when gyutaro emerged from her.
@@velogang9640 For him to feel that, there must be a demon nearby. Sure, he felt that there was a stronger demon than Daki, but he can’t know how near it is. The imminent fight is right in front of him: Nezuko.
@@velogang9640 Think about it: We know as viewers as Uzui tells Daki that “she’s not the one he’s been looking for” as she’s too weak, but it doesn’t mean that the “one he’s looking for” is nearby. He’d have to continue searching for it. This means in that regard, the MISSION is not over. Sure, Gyutaro comes out of her back shortly after, but he was surprised that he came out of her. In short, he didn’t anticipate a stronger demon emerging so soon, therefore, this is not the FIGHT he was referring to. What he tells Tanjiro, the FIGHT is not yet over, means that unless he gets Nezuko under control, he’d have to kill her. It puts weight into the task of getting her under control.
