Ho scoperto su RU-vid il maestro Karl Richter , che oltre a dirigere l' orchestra , suona anche l' organo , dando alla musica di HANDEL et di BACH ,quel qualcosa in piu' che i " soli " direttori d' orchestra non riescono a dare , alla suddetta musica.
ein wunderbares, sehr emotionales Konzert, das tiefgründige Adagio , und dann das sehr spielfreudige Allegro, und auch der letze Satz, den Händel mehrfach verwendete
The first movement is sublime. Its dark expression and thematic development reminds me of romanticism. Händel was ahead of his time. This piece is perfect for the end of the world.
This has become one of my all time favourites. Richter and his chamber orchestra recorded all twelve Op7 organ concerti c1958/9 at the Markuskirche, Munich, great performances and recordings. The whole set was issued on CD in the 1990s, long deleted

No one has done renditions of the baroque masters as interesting as Karl Richter did. A non romantic approach that has a tight, moderate steady tempo with an intensity in every not played and the dynamics, it just "eeks" out darkness in my opinion. Goosebumps
El primer movimiento es sin duda una de las piezas más oscuras de Handel, podría servir hasta para una solemne marcha funebre, contrasta con el alegre y ligero segundo movimiento. De lo mejor.
De acuerdo. También podría servir para el fin del mundo, apocalipsis jaja. Esa introducción es sublime. Por su oscura expresión emocional y desarrollo temático me recuerda a Beethoven y compositores románticos. Händel en varios de estos conciertos para organo se adelantó a su época.
Ein interessantes Zeitdokument. Es zeigt vieles, was man heute so nicht mehr machen würde, damals aber üblich war. So ein deutlich zu großes Orchester für Händel (7 Celli zB.) Und es ist eine Inzenierung für das Fernsehen und keine Live-Aufnahme. Auch damals recht üblich, da wohl die Mikrofone das Bild verschandelt hätten. Allerdings schlichen sich so auch Fehler in die Aufnahme ein. So sieht man ab Minute 6:00 zweimal, daß zwar eine Orgel zu hören ist, der Organist aber gar nicht spielt, sondern nur dirigiert. Trotzdem sehr interessant.
Karl Richter was a great musician, a 'diener' (servus) of music, not like some today 'charlatans' who perform histrionics on the podium and on the instrument!
