Here’s another jam while I record my Iceland live set. This jam wasn’t my best take but unfortunately I didn’t get video from that one. I kinda flubbed the synth solo on this one. This one features a recording of some wetland wading birds that were near our campsite. I can’t remember, but they may have been plovers. Hofn has an amazing view of a glacier and we watched a stunning sunset while we were there.
The bird recording is playing as a sample on Qu-Bit Nebulae. It goes through Morgasmatron and Rainmaker with vca modulation from Quadrax sequenced by Steppy to produce the hihat rhythm. Tetrapad is modulating the pitch and speed of playback, plus filter modulation and the Quadrax fall time. The snare is the same recording going through the SSF URA for sample rate reduction crunchiness. Final FX from Happy Nerding FX Aid.
